    J. Hawkins did not make it through the Rox Summer league team. He is currently with the Warriors trying to pick up a spot on their team

    Yao 20 pts, 9 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 blk

    he shot well. I think he was 8/10 FG's, and 4-4 Ft's.

Take it easy man...it's freaking preseason. Honestly, I don't thnk winning was at the top of Gundy's list. He put alot of different combos on the floor to test em out. Also. when the Rockets were close midway in the fourth, he put everyone that didnt play in. As far as Jackson, preseason and new team, adjusting, too soon to bash.....chill. :)

men, the Rockets perimeter D sucks big time. There were so many open shots and the Sonics kept hitting them and I didn't see us adjust.

Isn't it great that these problems get exposed now, rather than later?

Trust me... defense will be the LAST thing the Rockets will have to worry about.

Though I can understand the hunger for a successful basketball season, it's definitely too early to bash. Even JVG doesn't care about winning right now.

Forget about the score, and just try to evaluate how some of our 2nd and 3rd string players perform with/against other top-notch players.

Relax. It's preseason. The heat ain't on yet.

It was pretty clear JVG was more interested in trying out a variety of combinations and getting guys reps than he was actually trying to win. Plus, these guys are practicing 2 1/2 hours EVERY DAY INCLUDING GAME DAYS.

It's no wonder they can't hit the ocean from the beach, but, shooting is most definitely the real weakness of this team.

No matter what JVG does to get these guys on the same page, if they can't hit open shots, they aren't going to win a ton of games. My hope is that the poor shooting is due, at least in part, to the rigorous workouts. Having tired legs makes for really poor shooting.

    We'll see...
