yes, even thoug hfrancis is shooting 6 for 12, and is our best player. What?? You dont want francis to score at all. Remeber francis is our most talented player... Dot you want to utilize that talent.

That sounds like just what I said a year ago! Sounds like another season of the same old thing! I hope not! JVG must just about now, realise the enormous task he is undertaking. I just hope he is upto it!

    Question for the viewers:

Does it seem like the Rockets even care about losing these games?

Are we atleast getting open shots? More ball movment?

Im in Austin and can't watch the games, but if someone could fill me in on what's going on, (0-4), I know it's preseason, but can someone tell what mental state the team is in.

It's a very simple question, if you can't answer it, don't worry about it. When you can't watch the game, you can't see how the team is meshing.

Should we starting worrying if they still play the same way against sacramento? Hopefully we still start seeing better results at their next game.

i went to tonight's game and here are some thoughts:

    • this new announcer SUCKS...being referred to as the "sixth man" over the PA system every time the rockets are on defense gets pretty annoying
    • i was really hoping that the rockets went back to their ORIGINAL starting lineup themesong...you all know which one i'm talking about...i mean, after listening to those annoying drummers all last season, it'd be cool to go back to the rertro intro music, but instead there were no fireworks or cool themesong, they just dimmed the house lights, brought clutch out, and played some cheesy music...how many people here agree with me that the old starting lineup themesong should be brought back??....i think that song does a god job of pumping up the fans and the players
    • the toyota center was really, really nice...the food is a lot better than compaq
    • i don't know if this was just cause it was opening night or if it's new policy, BUT it's a lot harder to move down to better seats...every section has its own entrance with an usher standing there checking tickets for the whole game...i mean it's possible to sneak down when they turn away, but no where as easy as it was sneaking down to the lower bowl in compaq
    • we were spoiled by free parking at compaq center, because the surrounding areas near the arena charge $10 to park (i heard you need a special pass to park in the toyota center garage)

I'm not taking credit for it. Actually, I got it from YOUR POST.

I just thought it was funny.

    I've submitted corrections below...

    ====
    acrophobia98,

EG name is "Eggie" anointed to him by posters from last year. As in "rough around the edges"

He's so cute running around on the court looking all "edgy!"

I've been waiting for sooooo long for NachBUST to prove me wrong.:D Ok, so he can't play against real NBA pros, I can give him that excuse. But so far, he can't play against inexperienced 2003 NBA draft pick rookies. He can't play against players that don't usually have the chance to play. The 15th pick overall just keep on playing horribly with a capital H. Any more excuses for Boki supporters? Come on, bring 'em out, or if you folks can't, make something up. As for Eddie Griffin, a guy can only shoot less than 40% for 2 straight seasons, again went 4/15 from the field. He sure knows how to lead his team in shot attempts!

Well, Duncan had 6-14FG, 2-4FT, 14 Pts, 2 Rebs, 4 Assists, 2 Blocks in 23 Mins. tonight. And I thought Ming didn't play well enough. :)

I apologize if this has already been covered elsewhere, but can someone tell me where Mobley was tonight? I looked at the box scores and didn't see him listed? Please tell me he's not injured or something....
