I hope EG's shots drop. He needs the confidence. Actually, I don't know why his technique does not improve over the summer.

    ;)

George Lynch shot 3-3 from 3point line? Where's the perimeter D?

"Seems like Francis is getting lit up again...I said this ALL YEAR last season, he is by far one of the worst defensive point guards in the league."

OK, you can say that, but keep in mind Steve is playing against another point guard of his caliber in Baron Davis, and Davis isn't exactly burning him either. He's putting up average numbers.

I guess that's it for Yao tonight. He has made ten attempts and his quota is up.

    :)

about nachbar - if you want to just look at his shooting then it's easy to call the guy out but he works very hard. i think he has 10 rebounds so far tonight after 9 the other night. he moves real well without the ball and can also handle it with good court awareness for his position.

i think his shooting has been talked about so much on here that it's all he gets judged by and really that's the only part of him that's failed so far. he's not the next peja but his skillset is different and he should turn out to be a very solid player. imo, he's easily played better than jim jackson so far.

Look at the entire stat line on Davis, look at the assists and turnovers. That's what makes a good point guard. Francis, the usual under 5 on assists. To make my point more clear, this happens ALL THE TIME. The guy Francis is guarding will more then likely score a lot more points he is avg for the season. He just just does not play much D at all.

adjusting to the speed of the game will certainly affect his confience and shooting and hopefully with more game time it will come around

He hasn't hit anything, and he's taken an assortment of shots. He had a couple of straight up turnarounds cleanly blocked as well. :(

Maybe maybe EG will get the only double-double for Houston. He is our best player. Haha.

    acrophobia98,

EG new name is "Eggie!" As in "rough around the edges"

He's so cute running around on the court looking all "edgy!"

    :D
