Yao has been open every single time down the floor and Steve and Mooch just aren't getting it to him. I think they believe that once they give it to Yao for one posession, they have filled their obligation for the quarter and it is "their turn to score."

Van Gundy needs to bench both of them, and get someone who just passes to Yao. Show them that it is a good thing to pass.

It means the only thing worth watching that half was the halftime show.

It looks like whatever team playing us; it's always their guard and small forward show. Where is the VG well-known defensive system.

    :(

I know it is only preseason...but it would be nice to win a game. :(

At least Yao seems to be playing well judging from the stats from NBA.com.

For those that are watching the game, how is it that Nachbar is getting all those rebounds and Griffin is not?

Does the arena at least look bright on tv. The CC looked really dark and dull when watching on the tube. You could always tell where the Rockets were playing just by the look of the arena on tv. Please tell me it looks better....BRIGHTER!!!

It is very bright in Toyota Center.

I don't know...maybe other teams didn't do well because of Compaq Center. :D

Eddie Griffin is looking great. He's still missing shots..but making big blocks...big dunks...and big passes. Improving.

Jim Jackson seems to be getting more comfortable and back to himself...still a little crazy...

Our offense is fine. It is more fluid with more action and movement. I like it...we just don't have Mobley, Taylor, and Piatkowski. Taylor can fit right in with this offense. Piatkowski is the shooter we need. Mobley...well he will have to adjust his ways a bit for this offense...but he will help us score. Yao and Francis core! Eddie needs to be involved! He's great...when he is focused. Boki is not that bad either. At first, when I saw Boki starting and no Mobley...I thought Cat was gonna be our 6th man or something.

Perimeter defense...horrible! I don't know..maybe the Hornets are just veteran, but we can't do anything. They just shoot too good. Our inside guys can defend well. But now...I wouldn't want to trade Mobley for Artest. The reason is we need scorers...

Once again...I am loving Cato and Yao. Wonderful combination. They play very well together. Everybody plays well with Yao!

We lose again. But we are bound to win a game soon...eh? We can't go 0-82.

OH YEAH. I almost forgot to say this. CUT MOOCHIE!!! OMG he sucks. Hopeless.

Francis isn't exactly getting lit up, but Baron Davis has proved that he is good. I've never seen him this good...he could be better than Francis. But Francis is also battling back with his share of points and assists...50% shooting.

Where's Jamal Mashburn? And why is Mobley sitting out?

Yes. I am missing James Posey right now.

Seems like Francis is getting lit up again...I said this ALL YEAR last season, he is by far one of the worst defensive point guards in the league. The sad part is that I don't think he is not capable, as athletic as he is, I don't see how he couldn't be better. He himself has admitted at times that he does not respect some players' game so he does not pay much attention to them. Scrubs like Kevin Ollie, Milt Palacio(whatever his name is) etc have lit him up time after time. I just don't think he is a winner. Very talented but not a winner because he won't do the things needed to win ball games. Don't be surprised if he get's traded within a year, I don't think he is JVG type of point guard. It's either that or he is gonna have to be a 2 guard.

Oh yeah, we are gonna miss Posey's D a lot this year. He was the only guy on the rockets that busted his ass on D, our 3's are gonna get burned every game.
