Another thing about tonight, didnt it make you mad when the pheonix players were laughing at Ming when he fell over.

He didn't get crossed or anything, just lost his footing, and afterwards the Suns threw up a horrible shot. Just kinda made me mad....

Amen, Yetti. Rudy should have benched SF for 2 reasons. He was hurting, and the Suns defense was targeting shutting SF off.

I swear I thought Rocket fans had class, I must have been mistaken. On one thread alone I have seen personal attacks, and posters wishing for injuries upon an opposing team.

I for one respect the Rockets, however, some of the people (a minority of course) on this board are just wrong. It's a game folks! You have another game against the Lakers on Sunday, how 'bout you take your anger out against them, rather than a team who just handed you another number in the right column.

Did you watch the game at all. Our guards couldnt stop the penetration. Yao didnt foul the man he was guarding. He was trying to help all the time, which I think he did it too much. Why would a 7'5" end up guarding a 6' 2" guard. You tell me. OUR DEFENSE SUKS.

No thanks. Too boring over in the Suns camp.

By the way, see Yao next year.

Yao played ok. I wouldn't say he had a good game...maybe a good game for him. 10 points is ok..but 2 rebounds? 10 pts and 8 rebounds, then i would agree with you. He got scored over a few times, and made some poor decisions...but that's ok. Yao's a project, and I won't judge him for a few years...but he wasn't even playing in the 4th QTR, so I think he was relatively a minor factor in the game.

You know what the Rockets looked like tonite? A young team that made a lot of mental errors and poor judgements that comes with inexperience. The Suns are young as well, but when you got Marion, Googs, Penny, and Marbury as veterns you're going to run a lot smoother of a game, and they did.

I think Rudy is doing the right things. You can't teach the kind of chemistry that leads to crisp passing and vetern decision making on both ends of the court...it just comes from time and correcting bad mistakes. And the Rockets have a lot to improve on...which i s a good thing.

Glen Rice is the only guy who played well the last minute of the game. He had some rebounds and got to some loose balls...all very nice.

Charles, we will be watching the Suns in the next 4, 5 games...

They usually tank against lesser teams after they beat us.

I don't get it at all. Even ESPN said we should put Ming there in the last two minutes. It was obvious our offence was stalled completely without an efficient centre in the last few minutes.

And the defence lost to their penetration too.

Oh boy... For what reasons were we trying to hide Ming?

    :(

Francis sagged away from Marbury when he drove to make that last basket.I know he had 5 fouls but he should have been a little closer to him.
Francis was trying to win us the game like he did in the previous two games but he should passed the ball more like Marbury did tonight, even though he isn't as good a passer as him.

Charles V, Matrixfan, welcome. Congrats on the victory. It was a close one.

I apologize for those losers who post crap about hurting players. However, please don't typecast the board and lump the rest of us with them. And don't expect disappointed fans to play nice when you debut with tough talk after a close loss.

Come back sometime and join in what real discussion you can find here.

well I think we need a better play maker out there... i don't know if it is francis or rudy but we sound like we need a better play maker... i guess this is why francis was out to get Odom... I'm for a point forward out there if we can find one. That would really do us some real good

SF becomes too predictable to his defenders. He needs to pass consistently, so the defense will be forced to think.

I think for a lot of the game Steve was passing. When they pressured him in the backcourt, he passed the ball early. He moved the ball around a lot. The team was off tonight, and so was Steve. I will say I wish that Cat was more involved in the offense in the second half.

No doubt. But I don't expect class out of them. And ESPN...

Tom Tolbert is a disgrace. He is the worst broadcaster in all of sports.

You guys are killing me. OK, Clutch City had some GREAT teams, I know this. How 'bout you reflect on those teams rather than focusing on the "next 4, 5 games".

Need I remind you about what happened after the Rockets lost to the Suns last season on November 4th? Your record was as follows,

    2-19

Sure we can bring up the Franchise’s headaches, but the facts are 2-19.

Listen, I am not about rubbing anything in anyone’s face, I was just hoping for a bit of respect. As if the Suns didn’t buckle down on D when it mattered. As if Suns fans were b****ing about their coach or the refs when the ball didn’t bounce their way, as if Suns fans were worried about an open player...Blah, blah, blah.

Like I said in a previous post, the vast majority of Rock fans are straight shooters, I was only addressing the few who wished injury upon our players, and made personal attacks on us. ITS A GAME FOLKS.

Regardless. Tonights game officially ends an hour ago.

Here's to another good game on the 15th day of new year. (and a bunch of wins for both teams from here on out)
