He sure did and that's probably why SF was mad at him.

But realistically, we had no chance against this Spurs team after the tough loss last night. Yao looked terrible from the very beginning. Like it or not, it may be the wisest thing to rest up SF and Yao tonight......

our offense is doo-doo. Ive seen high school basketball teams with more offensive plays and schemes. where is all the cutting we supposedley put in the offense? all i see is confusion, iso's and shots taken after dribbling for 20 secs. did i say DOO DOO.

WOOOOOHOOOOO!!! That motion offense that the Rockets were raving about in preseason is really something to behold.

    not really.

the only motion i saw was larry "motioning" yao to sit on the bench. sigh.

and why are we resting up our players? We are near the end of the season and we need every game we can muster up .. even if we down by 18 at the end of the 3rd. NEVER give up ... this is the NBA .. I have watch the Rockets come back from a huge deficit.

I mean come on .. the bench took SA's lead down to 11 with like 7min to go in the 4th, before going back to ISO and bad shot selections.

I think at that point we should have at least put Rice, Stevie, or even Yao in to try to make another run ...

Not good on national television to see "up and coming" team give up.

i repeat, DOO DOO. man, we need someone to take charge. Im sick of seeing Mo stand on one side while the other 4 move to the other side of the court to observe a one on one game. then we take 15 secs to set up a play that never happens. our offense is still a ISO offense, just that now some ISO is inside. if this doesnt change, say hello to another lottery, this time with no pick.

Starting center plays for 33% of the game. That's an interesting stat.

    16 minutes out of a possible 48.

    Lakers last night:

Starting Center plays 92% of the game.

    44 out of a possible 48 minutes.

Starting center plays a lot of minutes...wow that's brilliant! It actually makes sense!

The whole Rox team just sucks. It has to do with the mangement that put together this lousy coaching team.

But then the Rox is one of the youngest team in the NBA. We should give them some time. They should change their offense from ISO to team work. I do not know why it is so hard for them to realize this.
It is a waste of every player's talent on this garbage team.

Thanks to stupid Rox coaching, they are not going to make the playoffs for years to come. Please trade Yao, and Eddie Griffin to another team where they will have a better future.

Did you see Steve stare down the bench of limp assistant coaches?

I don't like what I saw tinightb between steve and the coaches. I hope that it all does not fall apart. The rockets really need to get some playoff experience.

I'm very dissapointed with Yao Ming's performance tonight. You imageine that he would come out strong after a humiliating game last night. But guess what, he came out flat and scared and had an even worse game. I don't know if the kid has what it takes to be a star in this league. I still remember how Shawn Bradley looked like in his first year and he wasn't all that bad. But after people began to dunk on him and abuse him, he somehow lost his confidence and began to suck badly. I hope that Yao doesn't follow Shawn's path. Maybe we should let Cato start now. Cato should be fine starting as long as he doesn't jack up those stupid jumpshots like he did tonight. Calvin at least is aggressive on the boards.

It's obviously that Yao has some bad game when Larry took over the coaching job, when Rudy is the coach, Yao has done a great job, but ever since Larry took over the team, everyone start to play like ****, remember, Yao has take Divas to school the last time, this time, Yao also don't have a good game against Divas and Clipper. Larry is the biggest problem why the Rockets play street ball, Larry don't have confidence in the player, so, the player lost his self confidence.

To say Yao is not aggressive is ridiculous. He got 10 boards against the Lakers yesterday.

It seems like Mean has tried to be Mr. Nice by giving everyone a go but in doing so has upset the star players namely Francis & Ming. If Rice is upset with the situation and says so to the media then we will truly know the Rox have a serious problem.
