    3 observations:

    1) Cato is effective as a PF -- He's convinced me tonight
    2) Boki will contribute this year -- off the bench
    3) Yao will be unstoppable!!!!

    SA without Parker and Ginobilli are toast. Shane Heal just doesn't cut it.

    How could I forget Cato in my game assessment. They guy is playing great, with the exception of his free throw shooting. He's hustling for rebounds, playing D and even passing well. Keep it up Cato.

    Yep. They ARE playing very good TEAM defense.

    And if you can't tell the difference between the last few games and the last 4 years, you're blind. I haven't seen them pressure the ball like this in ages.

    Regardless of the 7th "best defense" last year (which Francis brought up as an excuse). That was Yao. Not "team."

    Francis took a pick on the hip! (great D!)

    Mobley is getting in peoples faces (great D!)

    And JJ is locking down his opponents (great D!)

    And Yao is just being Yao (great TREE!).

    No, We don't need PF. We can play twin tower all the time. But Yao and Cato can't play major minutes. So, that's why Braggs stays. And his is playing well. 13 2-3 0-0 0-0 3 4 2 0 0 0 3 4

    seems to me like Mobley's shots are all within the offense, not forced....
    and since he is sinking them, it is all good

    i think we are in extremely good shape for the season, even without eddie griffin. they are playing great, even though its the pre-season. braggs looks awesome and yao and cato work awesome together.
