Time to take names and kick some SA as*!
I hope Yao shows them how much they're gonna (and it's hard to say this without choking) miss the Mermaid. I can't wait to finally get to watch a game.

    GO ROCKETS!!!
    KILL THE SPERMS!!!

I'm an out-of-towner, so let's me get a few things straight:

The Rockets have played considerable better in their last two games (vs. Sacramento), than in their previous four pre-season games... correct?

And although Kings weren't 100% with Webber out, we still managed to control the tempo when Francis & Yao were in the game... correct?

And Yao Ming is the leading scorer in the pre-season right now, averaging less than 30 minutes a game... correct?

JVG brings a noticeable change to the style of offense implemented by Rudy... correct?

If the previous assumptions were correct, then I'm expecting to see a totally different Rockets team. On a nationally televised game, despite it being merely a preseason game, this may be the perfect stage to show the entire world that the Houston Rockets will live up to their 'potential' which has been hyped up to the point of Lebron in years past.

The Rockets will play well tonite. As much as any preseason game can mean, this means something to them. I can tell from this thread, alone. The Spurs main goal tonite is to evaluate talent & stay healthy - I don't think "making a statement" is anywhere near an objective. Yao has been putting up gaudy number, Nesterovich has, as promised, been a little soft in the middle (although solid offensively) -

    Ming - between 26 and 34
    Duncan - between 12 and 20
    Francis - between 20 and 26
    Manu (if he plays) 14 - 18
    Rasho - 8

Spurs depth might keep it interesting.

Hope the Rockets' keep this winning train rolling. We'd be a terrifiying team if our roleplayers could shoot at least 40% from the field. If Yao wasn't on our team I swear we'd be shooting 30% as a whole. Come on guys step it up.

Rox win 93-91 ... After Horry's game winning 3 pointer goes in and out at the buzzer :)

Yao get 21 pts, 12 boards, and 2 blocks in 32 min

Hmm...don't know what to expect exactly.

Of course...either we or the Spurs win.

Spurs are probably better as a team than us...and individually as well. But I still think the Rockets could beat them.....

Am recording it...for personal use. ;)

Haven't seen a Rockets game in over two years, so when I heard that this one was going to be on ESPN, I had to call in sick to work. I have to see about this Yao Ming character...:)

Seriously, isn't that strange? I've never seen Yao Ming play in a game. I'm REALLY looking forward to tonight.

    Oh yeah...Rox 93-87.
