Heres your ballgame: Glen Rice 13 minutes Mo Taylor 14 minutes

Glen Rices limited minutes is really puzzling because the last few games he has been one of the hottest shooters in the league.

    Nah, here's your ballgame:

Rice and Yao shoot 50% from the floor and their reward is getting benched. (Of course Rice was benched first then hit his shots).

Still though, 29 minutes and 8 shot attempts for your star center and a measly 13 minutes for your best 3 point shooter? That's laughable. I could have coached better than that.

Just a quick question. How would he be more involved offensively besides setting picks and trying to rebound when NOT getting touches? We were not passing him the ball enough period
I'm so tire of the excuse 'the <opposite team's> defense denied Yao the ball so well". This game was no where near the game we faced Celtics several weeks back. That I can see, but this game...we just shut our big fella down.

As soon as the first game away from home with no pressure from their own fans, the guards just reestablished their old bad habits right away, dribbling, iso, and jacking up low % shots. That's ok. Like someone has said, 5-1. It's just irritating that Rockets' guards seem to have two styles. One winning style to please home fans to avoid pressure and criticism. The other style being selfish and don't care if we lose.

    here's your ballgame....

Yao just came in and got dunked on by Jerome James after we went off to help mobley who was getting killed by Rashard Lewis. Then Yao comes back on offense and gets doubled and gives posey a beautiful over the shoulder pass for a layup. Next thing you know, Yao is on the bench and Cato is in.

Why was he taken out? wtf?

The Rockets must hate Rudy or something if that flaming piece of dog crap in a bag that they called an effort was dedicated to him. Absolutely horrible game, no matter what the score says. You could tell in the second quarter we didn't have a chance, even though it was still close then. Where was Rice for most of the game? What the hell was Mo "I force up more shots than Cat" Taylor doing in there for more than 8 minutes? By the way, I wasn't saying that the coaching wasn't bad, I was just pointing out that it wasn't the only factor.

I predicted a 2-3 road trip, but now it's gonna be 1-4 at best. Meanwhile, I think Phoenix has a pretty tough schedule coming up, so they shouldn't jump too far ahead of us for that last playoff spot. Question: Why is it such a big deal to get into the playoffs? We're gonna have to play the Mavericks, who swept us in a very humiliating way already...we're just going to have to endure another 4 games of embarrassment.

well, everytime yao got the ball, they quickly doubled, leaving posey open. Did yao and rice even play at the same time tonight?

I posted a thread yesterday entitled: Boys to Men: the time is now. I said that this road trip is a test of maturity. Well, guess what, they are still boys. They think like boys and they play like boys. Erase the seeming progress of the last five games. This was the "gimmie" game of the week. It only gets harder. Well boys, NO PLAYOFFS FOR YOU! Good night little fellows, good night little Stevie, good night little Moochie, and little Cuteenie, one day you will grow up and get a heart and a brain, maybe.

That's why these are assistance coaches. They don't have a clue and they may even have bad influences on Rudy. That's why Rudy looks stupid sometimes.

    oH PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!

    They shot 50%...

    but what?

    5 turnovers?

    Desperation.

Glen Rice HAS TO PLAY WITH MO TAYLOR.

You need MoRice combined....Wolverine Power. And we need Rudy.

But still...........you all know that Seattle did a good job. They knew everything that we were gonna do. And on defense........we didn't make ANY adjustments. We decide to put SIX-FOUR CUTTINO MOBLEY on 6-10 RASHARD LEWIS AT THE VERY FREAKIN END OF THE GAME!!!! :(

And we left that Kevin Ollie guy open ALL THE TIME. No one cared about him.

    We just screwed up.

    We gotta win tomorrow.

As far as I am concerned the fans shouldn't have to be in force at away games to make the players share the damn ball with Yao. What i'm most pissed about is his benching of the entire fourth quarter except for 2 minutes. It's not like we were winning big. Instead they put Cato in who just gave up fouls in the fourth. If the coaching staff can't even emulate Rudy T's style when he's not around, what have they been doing on the sideline the entire season? Picking their noses? Yeah, before the game Coach Mean said "nothing is going to change." Yeah right. Rudy is not that dumb.

I just failed to understand what the game plan was tonight.Rice got no time at all even though he was shooting pretty well. Yao needed to get more shots tonight as well.If we don't rebound we can't get second shots and that is even more important on the road with so much pressure to score.
We have to get back to what was working for us uptil now and and to make adjustments or else we will be in big trouble.

Shoot. I know why this happened to Yao tonite. Larry is responsible for counting Yao's touches when Rudy is coaching. They must forget to have somebody to do this for Larry. Everyone must be thinking Larry is gonna do it. But Larry thought I am coach tonite. Forget about the stupid counting thing! I have more important thing to worry about.

Hmmm....Why do the players for the nuggets/cavs/bulls/clippers/grizzlies etc... even bother showing up for games now? They know they're just gonna be blown out or lose the games anyways. Why do they embarrass themselves like that???

It's the coach (huh assistant coach) who let the guards jack up shots. Seattle's middle was soft but we never made an effort to establish an inside game and attacked their soft middle. What a game plan!
