JVG would **** in his pants if that happened, we would throw a downtown celebration if that happened, I would have a boner 24/7 if that happened (ok, maybe not). :D

well that was a waste of time and $. ive never seen the rockets win here in the last 2 years.

observation from warmup.

no one was hitting crap in warmup. cato continues to just practice 18 footers and fancy layups and never a shot he might actually take in a game. EG was suited up but all he did was stretch?

For the game...well it sucked as well. no positives that i can see other than most of those scrubs wont make the team. the scrubs did keep it close against the sonics starters for awhile.

did get to hang with ZRB and watch the 2nd half. at least someone else in the arena felt my pain.

By the way, Mobley's favorite player is: James Toney.

He says he patterns his game after him. And to tell you the truth. Mobley does play a lot like Toney.

Who is the starting shooting guard today? Ray Allen is 1 for 8.

Yes, and he was a #1 draft choice of the Houston Rockets out of North Carolina who signed insead with Denver of the American Basketball Association and ended up with the Sixers.

He was a good long-armed defender and a decent scorer.

I think Cornel can make the team as a backup. I just looked him up and he is 27 years old. No wonder. If he was younger he would have been a lottery pick. A big strong guy who can move like he does. At 27 you have to wonder if there is any room for improvement.

You must be very young. If Boki could contribute like Bobby Jones the Sixer, I'd be very pleased.

Hey did anyone notice that Amaechi actually can
shoot? The guy made some decent shots, from about
17 ft to boot..

The name was Andrew Toney, a cold-blooded shooter with the 76ers in the 1980s. And by the way, Bobby Jones came off the bench. Marc Iaveroni started at power forward.
Maybe Cuttino's problems come from patterning his game after James Toney.:D

James "LIGHTS OUT" Toney was a basketball player in his previous life? Who new! :D

BTW, Isn't it funny that the two most excitting boxers in the Heavy Wieght division are Roy Jones Jr. and James Toney and neither one of them are heavy wieghts!

The Houston Rockets originally drafted Bobby Jones, but he chose to sign with Denver of the ABA.

Man, I love that Rashard went off on us for 35, even if it was a preseason game. If I was that guy, I'd be dogging Houston every chance I get.

MIRSAD FREAKING TURCKAN for CRYING OUT LOUD!!!! ARRRRRRGGGGGHHHHH!!!!!
