Boki is supposed to be a straight up shooter? Man, I guess this is the difference between shooting free throws and having someone in your face. Or in his case, difference between having European players in his face and NBA players guarding him.

    Till now:
    Boki's field goal %: 2 out of 9
    free throw %: 1 out of 4
Not very good. And he had 5 RB.

Considering who we're playing, not a bad score at the half. Although only 18 points in the second quarter is a little disappointing, that's OK.

RocketsPimp, you are pimp! thanks for the link. i'm finally in the loop!! yesyesyesyesyesyesyesyesyes!!!

oh yes, life is sweet. even sweeter if we win. even sweeter if we get rid of meech and mooch (coincidental play on words?...i think not! they're a match made in bball hell) and keep cornell, scales, wilks, and mouneke.

54-49 at the half. not bad for our "scrubs" vs. their "studs" (quoting kjr-am).

Lack of assists in this case is a result of not having Yao, Eddie, Steve, and Cat out there making shots. Last night, they threw it in to Cato several times to come up with nothing where Yao would have shot a much higher percentage. Yao also gets assists when he passes out, which should bring us up.

JVGs offense consists of lots of passing and angles, which will result in high assist counts when guys are making shots.

EDIT: Piatkowski will add alot to the assist count this year, too! :D

Did Rashard really score 17 points in 2 minutes?

Edit: Murray was 3-9 in zero minutes as well. I guess mistakes have happened in score keeping.

Thanks for the audio link. These Seattle announcers are pretty funny. They just referred to the game between the Sonics and "this band of free agents, representing the Houston Rockets."

    Band of free agents. lol.

im worried about bokis defense, shard has scored some 20+ points on him. if he cant play D, gundy wont play him. i am liking scales though, he might just earn a spot on the IR.

I think somebody needs to get Boki mad so he can get motivated and do what he is getting paid to do. I don't know.

I can't wait until Adrian Griffin gets healthy. He probably won't be able to stop Rashard, but he ought to be able to contest some of those shots. Also, the problem seems to be stemming out from how slow the Rockets rotate on defense. They're giving up a lot of open shots.
