My least favorite play, that we "ran" twice in the first 6 minutes: Mobley iso dribble. everyone stands around, mobley jacks up an iso jumper. it seems this is the only way he knows how to play.

I agree, actually I'm a raptors fan in general but each time I see mobley plays he just shoots. It's crazy , does this pattern exist for all rox games in other cities?

The commentators from canada are confused about the rockets. They've must have said
"I don't know what the Rockets are doing"
"This team is all about 1 on 1 - iso" - they've said this at least half a dozen times in one quarter.
    "Mobley doesn't pass a lot"

    It goes on and on..

It seems like the raptors commentators know that the rockets are poorly coached or have selfish players. Seems as if the rox are the laughing stock of the league.

Sigh...deja vu, anyone? We came out just as terribly as last night. We're gonna do it again, against another bad team. I just have a bad feeling, but that feeling is becoming too common.

 Here me out: The Rockets are wasting the season ticket holders' money now. They are not fun to watch even WHEN they WIN. They go iso almost every play. Pass the freakin ball you selfish Rockets. It's not that hard. Basketball is a team game. YOU NEED TO PLAY TEAM BASKETBALL TO WIN SOME GAMES. No one person can outscore a whole team unless you were an NBA player playing against the bunch of high school players like Lebron James is playing against. What is hard about that philosophy? Its ACTUALLY easier to pass the ball then dribble through a crowd and shoot all by yourself with ball movement. And the crowd may appreciate it more sometimes. You might also get a spectacular dunk in the process-you never know. Also, the Rockets trainers need to teach Eddie Griffin how to shoot. All of his shots are straight lines. There is no arc whatsoever. Also, it takes him FOREVER to release the ball. Either you work with him or trade him. The Rockets need to learn how to manage the clock. It seems like they never use the clock to their advantage. For example, with about 30 sec. left in a quarter and with about 10 sec on the shot clock, they wait until there are about 21 seconds left to shoot giving the opponent the last shot instead of playing for a two for one possession and getting the last shot. Now thats just stupid. Personally, I think the Rockets need to hire a new coach. Mainly, I wanted to stress ball movement. MOVE THE BALL AROUND YA LAZY BUMS. My goodness, THESE ARE PROFESSIONALS. If they havent already noticed, people are actually paying money to see you pros play. Yall are supposed to get the crowd interested in the game. Somehow, NFL teams can do this. So why cant you, NBA? You can wow the crowd more in a a basketball game then a football game. All you do in football is tackle people, run the ball, and throw a pass to players. Wow, really exciting. On the other hand, in the NBA, you can cross people over, break their ankles, dunk on people, HAVE NICE BALL MOVEMENT and NICE PASSES, and other numerous things. Also games are much closer in the NBA than in the NFL. and close games are exciting. the NFL is all about the records and stats, nothing else. Anyways, the Rockets need to prove to be the best basketball team in all of Texas, high school, college, NBA, or otherwise. Come on Rockets.

then why isn't there a revolt in houston??? around the league they're makking jokes about the rox's play and strategy. the commentators from the rapts are questioning the rox strange substitution strategy. "Why is ming on the bench when carter is out?" As I follow the rapts they are a team that has a pass philosophy but they've been saying that the rox are 28th in assists and in general they iso all the time. everybody sees this why not the rox management?

Well, this one wouldn't be so ugly if the refs decided to call fouls when Yao gets hacked constantly, and stopped calling the the little pansy fouls at the other end. As they say, he's being rookied.

Rox bashing by Rapts commentators subsided now in the 2nd quarter. Last thing they said "Why are they setting an ISO for Taylor when Yao and Francis are on the floor?" But they've made it clear the rox are poorly disorganized. C'mon they don't pass, even to a guy who doesn't watch the Rox it's painfully obvious.

While switching to NBA TV during the breaks I hear them saying that some games Yao gets 20 pts and others he doesn't touch the ball. Lots of praise for Francis though, is he really an MVP candidate?
