Just one thing to say about this otherwise unimpressive win...That foul called against Yao at the end of the game was the worst call in the history of basketball...

We struggled again, and to get the win we needed Posey to shoot 50% and Griffin to get 12 boards. How many times is that going to happen. Things still look bleek to me.

That's just it...Griffin is SUPPOSED to get 12 rebounds!! He has no post game and no outside shot, so he has to do SOMETHING besides block a couple of shots per game...

    ...and Posey didn't shoot 50%...

While I didn't see the game, it seems to me that this was a good win. Strictly going by the stat lines, it was the way it should have been. Yao leading in scoring and plulling down 9 boards (could have used another block or 2), Francis adding another 19, along with plenty of assists and rebounds, Mobley scoring 14, Posey hitting some shots and playing defense when it counts, EG with 12 & 12 (that's all we ask), and MoT with some offense off the bench.

Like I said, I didn't see the game. But, from what I can tell from the box score, this might have been one of the more complete games they've played this year.

All that and we won by 2 against a team who has won 18 games. That is what scares me.

That's what happens we you play pretty good offense and lazy defense. But Toronto is a better that 18 win team when they're playing well. Come to think of it we're a better that .500 team when we're playing well too.:)

If you saw the game, it was all the same old Rox. Everybody stand still on offense. No movement. I cannot blame Francis or Mobley for not passing the ball. They cannot. There were never open players on the court because "everybody freeze!"

Overall, though, Griffin, Taylor, and Posey played great ball. Francis sucked, Mobley sucked. Yao sucked the first 3 quarters. Yao was great the 4th quartor. Since no one moved on the court except RudyT jumped up and down, he sucked too.

I cannot see a wining streak after this game but I really want to see one.

Well, that 18 win team is also 9-5 over the last 14 games, so don't let their record deceive you. If not for injuries they'd be in the playoff run, the Raps are a decent team.

It was a much-needed win, of course, but I'm still bothered by the defensive breakdowns. The Raps got too many good looks at the basket, which may explain the 47% shooting from the 3pt line.

Clean as a block can be! It's absolutely a stuff. WTH is the Ref doing? The refs must be blind.

    Many NBA Refs suck

Hmmm.... it was all the same old Rox. A few years ago, Charles Barkley using his fat ass for post up, "everybody freeze" for Rox players.... Sound familiar?

That was all ball. Talk about home court advantage, the refs are either blind or trying to make the game going to OT.

Lakers had to go into OT to beat them. Give Toronto the credit.

I think the refs made it up with that non-call when Vince drove to the hoop at the end of the game.

Boy, 3, walking alone near Loop, alarms drivers

It was a startling sight -- a little boy, clad only in a diaper, an orange T-shirt and a Rockets jacket, walking by himself next to the North Loop service road.

I assume this little boy was so distraught over the bad call he lost his mind.

Same observation. This is a win that doesn't show much improvement of the team. Had Yao not been playing the whole 4th quarter, Rox would have lost again, by a few points, I think.

Wow! Cutino Mobley thinks that Yao is 20 years old :D :D :D

I think it is about time he shut up and stop exposing high stupidity.

Sounds to me, Cat is really optimistic about the team's future. Although he's wrong about the ages of our young guys.

I think he should stop thinking about because we're young and we're suppose to suck. Stop considering yourself young, Cat, you're a veteran, you should step up and be a leader and play smart ball!
