Yes. But I got a complaint from a Chief Dribbling Officer. He said, "Didn't I shoot 44 points in the Shaq-Yao I game? Didn't I pass the ball to Yao to dunk the game-decising shot? I've said I'm a high-risk player. So up-and-down's is no big deal."

The Rockets have been learning to walk for 4 yrs now!!! I honestly wish I could have a positive "WE are going to be fine attitude" but thats way too hard for me right now. I see no desire or fire in these guys eyes. I think it was Houston rocks or one of those guys who said you have to crawl before you walk and I agree but we already know how to walk its just that when we walk its more of a staggering type walk, like we are drunk...

Cat doesnt even look at Yao when he rolls to the basket. he simply uses the pick so he can get in the lane to force a shot against 2 defenders. I swear, one play Yao was wide open and it seemed like Cat intentionally didnt look in his direction. Everything would be so much easier to just pass to Yao for a short jumper after he rolls.

Hey Trickdaddy maybe you should visit the Suns forum, I could care less about that ball-headed b*stard Marbury. I have always hated Marbury almost as much as Malone and Shaq... I'm not trying to be rude it just seems like your a Suns fan and I just thought I would lead you to their forum so you can brag about STEPON over there...:)

Rox players are thinking: Sooner or later, Yao is going to get all the money. I won't get any big share or max. Let's screw it.

Remember though, Yao has to send half of everything he makes back Home ( man that would suck!!!)

In a team like rockets, Yao Ming should learn to shoot first. Don't pass the ball unless it is impossible to shoot. If he is in a team like spur or kings, he can pass whatever he wants. But this is rockets. When you get the ball, nobody moves to an open place. When you pass a ball to somebody in the open, he either can't shoot or it takes him 3 seconds to realize the ball is in his hand and he needs to shoot immediately.

It won't suck. Poor Mobley and Franchise have to send half of their salaris to the stupid IRS.

well, we have some smart predictors. Most people predicted earlier in this thread that the Rockets would get whipped by the Pistons and by golly it happened.

IMHO,steve should be sidelined for a couple of games. whether it's his headache or back strain,he needs some rest right now. he should come back 3 or 4 games later and still got time to contribute to the team. mobley is playing well lately based on my observation. and he doesn't run into a bunch of defenders looking to shoot(which is dumb, by the way) like steve does.that's what i like about the guy. yao is another player we can trust now.get each of them 30 oppotunities to shoot per game and see how that goes. rice is still the best and most reliable 3-point shooter on the team. give him some chances to shoot early rather than when we're down 15 with 2 minutes remaining for the game. i'd like to see him shoot the 3s at least 6 times in the first half. IF RUDY EXECUTE THE ABOVE MENTIONED PLANS. THE ODDS OF ROCKETS WINNING WILL INCREASE 20%,to say the least. let's see what can happen.

You almost have to be Mary Poppins to be optimistic at this point. It's official, this team is headed for the lottery. They can't pass (except Ming), they can't shoot (except Ming), they don't make good decisions (except Ming), they can't catch passes (except Ming sometimes) and they don't play defense (except Ming who doesn't always play it well). I think that about covers it.

On ESPN Fast Break Live, the commentators including Sean Elliot said the Rockets "are too selfish" to make the playoffs. The other guys said they had "no discipline, ran stupid isos" and were going nowhere. That about sums it up.

Young, immature, a championship in the making, be patient, it will all get better, etc. etc. DREAM ON!

Yes, this would work up Yao's stat and might help to grasp some wins. But knowing Yao's personality, he won't do it voluntarily unless he's instructed by the coach to do it more.

On second thought (just kidding), every Rockets players can just forget about everything and concentrate on shooting, shooting and endless shooting. Imagine if the 10 players in rotation each take 100 shots, 20% FG success rate would give the Rockets 200 pts. With 200 points, would be Rockets lose? Oh, no, I forgot one thing, the opponents can do the same and can put up 250 points, as they got better shooters and coaches. Oh, damn, this won't work. So RudyT, your one-on-one and self-shooting won't work. See.

Now 2 games back of playoff position (Phoenix beat SA!!!  ), AND a mere half-game ahead of... the WARRIORS!?!?!?

No injuries worth mentioning, so the more I think about it, the harder it becomes to think about because it just doesn't make sense. I never in my wildest dreams would have imagined this at the beginning of the season. I honestly can't believe we're in this position.

Call me Poppins! Even in these past lottery years, I never lose hope until we are mathmatically eliminated.

You are all waisting your time in suggesting ways that the Rockets can pick up their Game! We should be planning our strategy on which players are we going to try to get in trade, that will play the supporting roles in a Big Mans Game. Our future is Yao Ming not the street ballers. The street ballers have sabotaged the Rockets all season! This coming offseason there are lots of good players available, we need to get serious. Les Alexander must be blind, deaf and dumb if he does not see the inner conflicts within the Rockets that has prevented our chemistry from developing. I know he is not,so expect fireworks if things continue to go south!!
