Well at least Rudy ended with the lineup everyboday has been wanting to see:
    Francis
    Cat
    Yao Rice
    Mo-t
But Rudy, youhave to start with them as well.... I think Ruday is back on the bottle

#3, new playbook. Does all these close-game losses and bad shooting nights completely block out the fact that the Rockets are one of the top teams in the league to improve their record by so much from last year? We are LEARNING. We are YOUNG. We're not going to show that we're LEARNING night in and night out. Give them time to play together, let there be a roster change or a coaching change or whatever, and the team will do just as bad, if not worse.

has your nba team been in a slump recently? or how about you just have a pretty sucky team? well search no more, the houston rockets are here! ah, yes...the rockets can make any team forget about shooting slumps, players gone cold, and well...overall bad playing. as an added bonus, they'll make sure your team hands their asses back to them! nevermind how the rockets lose the game, although you can make a preference such as: bad coaching, wild shooting (hurry: the Cat special won't last long!), EXTREMELY WILD b-ball decisions (half price on francis!), or just piss-poor play by everyone! and don't worry...no one will suspect anything as the rockets "appear" to be making a comeback after halftime! so step right up folks, i guarantee you the rockets won't let you down!

don't take me seriously, folks. just tryin my best to lighten up the atmosphere a bit:p

i am pretty pissed off by the rockets at the moment, but manage to contain my feelings. on a second thought, i think it is not necessarily a bad thing for the rox to lose four in a row.we still got 20 or so games to play.the rout handed by the slumping pistons will hopefully give the rockets coaches and players some thoughts. hope they can fix it after the game and focus on the rest of the season.IF THEY ARE STILL SO STUBBORN I WILL BE TRULY PISSED OFF!

I disagree. Rudy T is clearly being outcoached every game. He can't adjust to changing situations in-game and has PROVEN he doesn't know how to time his substitutions according to whats going on in the game.

You hit some shots ----you get benched.
You go 0 for 13----you play the most minutes (Francis)
Team is down by single digits ---put your best 2 players on the bench (Yao, Steve)
Team is down by 20 ----leave the guy who can alter opponents shots on the bench
Game is almost over ----bring your center back in the game.

Com'on. Tell me that's not Rudy T's coaching style.

faulty logic. If that were true, the 20 pt thumpings by the knicks, wizards, and the spurs would have waken then up by now.

All I can say is this.......

    OWNED.

Exactly. Forget the lack of offense and defense, proper substitutions are the easiest part of a coach's job and Rudy consistenly gets it wrong.

I thought when some one talked about how much Yao has improved the rox by comparing our record with last season, a lot of ppl pointed out that we had a bad season last year largely due to injuries, therefore, our improvement ain't that huge as it seems to be? :)

dude... I would really want to buy your arguement... but it just seems to me it's hard to say how much we have learned just based on that... :(

lol. it's frustrating to be a rox fan now...

Does everybody notice that most of the games we lost lately is due to the fact that at least a couple of our players shot poorly at the same time ... Steve noticeably, Mobley and Taylor on and off, Posey and Giffin usually never ... there is only two things - we keep the core of the team and give them a chance or make some change to the roster and designate who is the key players and who are the role players and start competing for the title ...

How familiar is this pattern? RudyT's brain must have been infested by an unk virus, otherwise we wouldn't have seen these symptoms so often. Go see a doctor, Rudy, before it's too late. If not treated promptly, the virus will bring your blood pressure down to -0.50.

I just have one more thing to say, I'm tired of hearing people, and not just on this forum, but ex-coaches and newspapers people saying " hey Houston don't forget that Rudy-T won you guys 2-championships..blah,blah,blah....." First of all he had players with hearts who new their roles. Also come on that was 10 years ago, the NBA has changed especially the players, its much faster and the players are younger. Goodbye to the totally low post dominant Center days (Hakeem,Robinson.) We will not win with Rudy, you can bash me but its the truth. I love Rudy for all his years and I have been a fan fo 23 yrs but its time for him to go to the front office.Just a thought :(

I had to attend a prep class for the CFA exam and so I couldn't follow the game at all. I'm trying to piece together why we lost and I'm not sure.

Can someone provide an explanation for what looks to be a thrashing of the Rockets? Thanks.

The only player worth watching right now is Yao. He's a rookie with an upswing in his game. The rest of this team looks as if they have hit the ceiling and are now coming down hard. Please someone, somehow find a way to pull this team together.
