I believe it's going to be

    PG: Francis
    SG: Mobley
    SF: Thomas
    PF: Griffin
    C: Cato

at least I hope that's what it is.

Yeah that should be the lineup,

    PG: Francis
    SG: Mobley
    SF: Thomas
    PF: Griffin
    C: Cato

Having KT will help us, but lets start some ball movement tonight!

    Codell,

Did it say start? That's good news...

What's up with Rice. I thought he almost could play the other day?

Rice is questionable for tonight, I don't think Rudy will risk using him.

He'll be back in the rotation next week, patience

HeyPee, you bring up a few successes when we ran the 3 guard. What was our record last year? We ran the 3 guard almost every game last year in the 4th quarter, when games are won or lost. Would you say it's playing the percentages to use an offense that was such an overall failure?

Mark my words, if Yao gets to play at least 20 minutes. Everybody will be impressed, more praise from everyone. What golden mentalilty. Do you have a golden mind to explain about that. My comment on gaining 30 lb was just being sarcastic. I guess you dont have too much of a golden mind after all. "Stop talking and start playing". So far Yao has been acting very mature despite being misused by his Chinese coach and now the American one. So far I only see start "benching", no "playing".

Guys I live in Maryland and cant get access to the games like you local peoples do. Is there any chance of someone recording the game and having it mailed to me? That would be really sweet if you could.

As far as predictions go, Steve will play well again, and the Rockets will win going away. 102-86 is the score I have in mind. The Rockets dont match up with the Rockets at any of the 5 positions. So if we dont win...This board will be going insane.

    Moe,

first off, I am not advocating using it a lot.

I do not believe we lost last year, because of the 3-guard lineup. Rudy did not invent a 3 guard lineup. If any team in the NBA can utilize one, it is Dallas and the Rockets. And both will and should, imo.

What do you want me to say? I like the 3-guard lineup, and it has proven effective, imo. Give Griffin and Yao a few years to become a formidable defensive tandem and that lineup may indeed be a thing a beauty. Remember, it did produce 17 fastbreak points last game.

I like it. I like offenses that have two looks. Two look offenses are proven to win championships. Reason being is versatility provides a better chance to find a fatal weaknees in an oppenent to exploit in a long series.

Another thing is something Mike Ditka said about Fridge going in as fullback. "If the oppenent spends 2 hours a week practicing how to defend it, that is two hours they are not practicing something else. That alone makes it a success."

Chron did say he would start. I hope they are right.

They really didnt give an update on Rice. All they said was, hes out for tonights game. Im starting to think that Rice's injury is worse than they are letting on. Lets hope for the best.

Exact words out of the Chronicle for Rice are doubtful & not expected to play in two seperate references. So there is still a chance!

Well, that's not the situation we're talking about, is it? The situation is not that Rudy uses it, he abuses it. When all 3 guards all get starter's minutes, that's a lot!

I absolutely do think that's why they lost last year. What the hell is the comment about Rudy not inventing the 3 guard. Who said he did?

Okay, tell me why you think we lost last year when we ran the 3 guard so much. The 3 guards all played starter's minutes last year too, remember.

This I can't disagree with. It's the way Coach Cud abuses the 3 guard that I take great exception to.

I wouldn't panic too much about the starting lineup, even if it is the same as the Indiana game. Moochie should be better tonight. He hadn't played in about two weeks before that game. Also, when he can avoid it, Rudy doesn't put players coming off injuries into the starting lineup. It doesn't mean KT won't get a lot of minutes. Only that he might not start. At some point tonight we have the option of going Steve, Cat, KT, Griffin and Cato with a bench of promising rookies and Mooch, against one of the worst teams in the league. I'm not too scared.

On another note, I wonder if Yao'll have the same problem with the thin air in Denver that Hakeem had.
