Hope Yao can rebound from his recent struggles. If he can play well in the last 10 games, Rox will have a good chance to go to the playoff. :)

Houston plays 6 playoff teams in a row. Ouch. Phoenix plays Denver 2 of the next 4 games. Looks like Pheonix will build at least a 2 game lead over Houston.

As for the game, Rockets play ISO and ISO, while the Nets utilizes team, unselfish plays with many assists. Nets win.

    23rd! Yes!

On the road + bad karma = close loss.

You too? Yeah, it sucks, huh? Sad thing is, NBA TV was available for TW LEAGUE PASS subscribers in the first-half of the season. For some reason they just stopped allowing it.

I guess NBA.com Flash play-by-play will have to do.:(

Obviously you LUV EDDIE but if you haven't figured out by now the Nets by far got the better end of that trade.Everytime I see that commercial with Jefferson it just makes me sick that we gave him and to other guys up for Eddie. You have to admit that Jefferies is much better than Eddie G. I love Yao but I would be stupid to say that he's better than Shaq. The good thing is that Eddie and Yao our young and who knows what the future holds. And I'm just curious, are you a woman, I mean since you love Eddie ? I'm not trying to be smart I'm just curious :)

Ok, that's a bit misleading. Four of those "playoff" teams are eastern teams, including Orlando and Milwaukee, neither of which would even be contending in the West. As for Philly and NJ, they'll be tougher, but they're still not as good as more than half of the Western playoff teams, easily.

Too true.. as shown by last season, the rockets dominated the east.. but couldn't do the same against the west..

I expect us to dominate the inside game, and hope that we establish the post. If we establish the post, and slow the tempo of the game, this game is ours for the taking.

Of course, it's all up to Steve to slow down the tempo, not get into a personal battle, and keep feeding Ming/MoT.

Cat is due for a big game too.

The last time we played the Nets, they were seriously slumping. Right now they're coming off a three-game win streak, but against lottery teams (NY, @NY, GS).

Hope the Rocks can get this one. I think it's winnable. Need to play good, smart defense.

geez, is that like the 18th and 19th time the nets and knicks have played? i swear they play every other damn day and i always have to see them on tnt or see SC highlights of them. they can't possibly have only played each other 4 times this year. it's impossible. same thing with the nets and celtics, always friggin playing each other. can't the east get some decent friggin teams to watch if they have to play all the time. end of rant.

    I'll be at the game.

There is going to be a HUGE turnout for Yao, so hopefully he can get out of this slump.

I hope the Rockets win of course, but b/c I predicted this as one of the games they'll lose during the final nine games, that's my prediction (a loss -- very close, though). Hopefully I am wrong and the Rockets win, though! :D

Oh, yeah -- this is the game Yao breaks out of his slump!

Double-dip for him -- 21 points, 13 rebounds, two assist, two blocks...

Rockets are actually passing fairly well as of late. Martin is questionable. Mt. Mutumbo is old and beaten up. Rockets have more on the line. I give the nod to the Rockets.
