    I put a little on the moneyline for the Rockets at +350.

    The Rockets are gonna come out, everything is gonna gel, and they're going to sock the Mavs good tonight. Yao's going to go for 14 pts, 7 rbs (although he'll have 2 shots blocked by Bradley). Bradley'll go 10 and 12 rbs, playing twice the minutes Yao plays.

    Rockets will lead at the end of the 1st, 33-26. This holds up all the way through, and they pull out the win on a few clutch Taylor free-throws 101-98.

    Common guys. Positive thoughts!

    If you were going to beat the Mavs, what do you need?

    1) You need to eliminate their depth advantage.

    2) Have perimeter players to bust the zone.

    3) Match their 3 star players at their positions (Griffin on Nowitzki, Francis on Nash, and Mobley on Finley). In that 3 vs. 3, assuming they have a slight advantage, let's go to this:

    Cato
    Ming
    MoT
    KT
    Rice
    Hawkins

    vs.

    Popeye Jones (first game after surgery)
    Walt Williams (Hoenstly, I'm worried)
    Adrian Griffin
    Avery Johnson


    It's safe to say we destroy them.

    How to win this one?

    Here's the thing that will BUST it open: Blocks. If Griffin, Cato, and Ming can combine for 8 blocks or more, the Rockets will win. 8 solid, tempo-affecting blocks. That would throw the Mavs out of their game.

    Assuming we TRY to play D, and get the blocks, the game is ours.
