Chocolate and sex. Oh, and I'm partial to a little Bone Thugs and/or Tool.

I am so glad we are going to be the ones to stop the Mav's from taking our record. What a game, and on national television. Yao vs. Bradley will be fun.

What I would like to see, but probably won't...

    To start:
    Hawkins on Nash
    Mobley on Finley
    Francis on Adrian Griffin
    EG on Dirk
    Collier on Bradley

    IMO -
    * Hawkins has the height to impede Nash's ability to pass on the fly.

    * Nowitski has faster feet than Eddie, so I would send Francis (or Mobley if closer) to Dirk as soon as he took his first dribble.

*I would force Nowitski to the middle (away from the baseline and into help defense). For my money, I would take the gamble of doubling Dirk with Francis and making Adrian Griffin beat me.

    * Yao + Collier will equal whatever Bradley and Mobley will be +/- 5 of Finley so I would emphasize controlling Nash and not allowing Nowitski to to ever get into a comfort zone.

    * I also feel using Yao, MoT & KT as a unit for an extended time has the capability of wearing the Mavs down.

    My heart says:
    Rockets 100
    Mavs 93

    But my gut feeling is:
    Rockets 87
    Mavs 95

Yao Ming, singin his version of one of his favorite songs, blares out the words "Yao Mings back...ALRIGHT!"

And i don't think Shawn Bradley can stop him!

    Score:
    Rockets - 105
    Mavericks - 99

    I BELIEVE!!!

You're probably too young to remember but Don Nelson coached a Milwaukee Bucks team that went something like 6 straight years of having the best defense in the NBA. Not to mention Sidney Moncreif (the Bucks best player at the time) won defensive player of the year all 6 of those years.

I said on the other thread that I'm suprised by the lack of respect you guys are showing the Mavs. The Rockets are the best matchup with the Mavs but the Mavs are 11-0 for a reason. Like I said in the other thread ... I hope for the Rockets sake that the players are giving the Mavs more repsect that you guys are because if they are not showing any respect to the Mavs they will get blown out in Dallas.

Didn't we have a three guard lineup against Dallas when we spanked them by 37 last year? I think the Mavs are one of the few teams that can be exploited by the speed of the small lineup...

It is not going to take a "perfect game" from the Rockets to beat the Mavs. The Rockets have just as much talent, if not more than the Mavs. The difference is that Dallas has playoff experience, and is doing a better job of putting the talent together at this time.

All the Rockets need to do is play with the same intensity they played with against Portland, and they will be fine.

Don Nelson doesn't get any respect. He takes on LOWLY teams and builds them up better than most coaches could ever do but never gets the superstar on his roster to put him over the top. Unfortunately he could never get past the Bird and the Celtics. He takes over a LOUSY Golden State team and turns them around to a 50 win team withouth any big man. I just hope Dirk is good enough to win him a championship.

I might be going...I should be, but not sure if its going to happen anymore.

I really hope the rockets win tomorrow. I am so tired of hearing about how Dallas is going to break the rocks record! 15games...no way thier luck ends in dallas on thursday at 9pm.

The record for for consecutive wins is 15 and was achieved by the Washington Capitols (1948-49)and the. Houston Rockets (1994-95)
