We all know that Francis and Mobley didn't have their good games but when they do, we could have taken the Mavs out. Ming was awesome. GO ROCKETS!

This is ridiculous. Steve did fine getting Yao the ball in this game. For the first three quarters, everyone (save maybe Mobley) was making a conscious effort to get Yao the ball, and it was working. In the fourth quarter, the Mavs changed their defense a bit, and you could see Steve, Mobley and company looking into the post to pass, but then they wouldn't because they seemed unconfident in their ability to do it with Najera fronting Ming. Steve didn't have a great game, but he was working with Ming very well tonight, and that was one of the positives I took away from it. There was a time I was worried that Francis, Mobley, etc. would have a difficult time adjusting to letting Ming have his touches. I am no longer concerned about this with Francis. He is learning, he is adapting. Mobley I am not so confident with, but I still think he can change as well.

Well the shot clock was down to one second when the ball was in his hands...how was he supposed to pass? he just didn't have a chance.

At the middle of the 4th, when it was almost evident that the Mavs were running away with the game, my friend and I were talking about how insecurity may have played a part in Yao not taking a single attempt in the quarter. Mooch passed to him when it was too late.

It seemed to us that our guards on the floor at the time (Mooch and Cat) just flat-out REFUSED to pass it to Yao. Plain as day. Najera fronting Yao is a bulls*** excuse. Yao is 7'6" for chrissakes! And there were times when he WAS in position with the ballhandler looking at him! Maybe they were thinking that 29 was enough for Yao, it's time for THEM to get their points.

I have no idea why Rudy allows this kind of play to happen.

I love how the spineless minions of Rice-haters are carefully avoiding the fact that his shooting kept us in the game in the 3rd quarter...good job guys...i mean, weasels
