Great game :D Dang 'Rox got sloppy again in the 4th !   At least they saved it for the last minute :p :p :p Down yesterday for Yao, up today. Up yesterday for MoTaylor, down today...... now the next challenge the Rox should tackle is for every Rox to be UP at the same time.....

It's quite simple: He came to Cleveland. We made him so depressed he gained almost 100 pounds in less than 2 years up here.

Come on everyone, YM shot 8/14 (that's only 57%) and has no assist.

He can do better than that!!!

    Quite simply...?

Some of you guys, the Rox can't do wrong right or vise versa..

If they do what yall are screaming about, you find something else to scream about..just gettin sick of it..

In previous games, Rt will pull out Yao with a few minutes left, everyone screams "What? Rudy is stupid.Put Yao in" or " Why Yao not in?" geez

With the inconsistency the team shows, you dont just yank all your starters because you have the lead..especially not against a team with a dangerous scorer like TMac...he isnt surrounded by scrubs...they have some ppl that can fill it up in a hurry...

    orateam,

What did you think about the defense that the Rox put on ur boy? they stayed in his face all night(until the last minute or two) and Posey did just as I thought he would, he stayed with his man. To be fair, JP didn't play as good defensively as he has before tonite..but he still did an admirable job out there...Mobes did pretty good also...

What's with the SCRATCH that Kemp gave Yao? It looked damn intentional to me. Hell, the gouges are like 18" long.

    JayZ

Just in case you are reading this thread, we *finally* had an inbounds play from under the basket for a point-blank layin. It was Mobley to Rice.

    woohoo

Hey, what did y'all think of Yao putting the ball on the floor at the 3 pt. line and taking it all the way to the basket? He just keeps showcasing new skills every game!

You forgot 12 boards, 2 blocks, and a crap load of changed shots as well as fouling their big guys. As someone mentioned, he missed two very easy shots at the end, but the guy played great.

Brace yourself, I am going to use the words defense, motion, teamwork in the same post with the word, "Rockets." Besides the ongoing saga of boneheaded turnovers, I want the Rockets to play this way for the rest of the year.

After the Warriers loss I was so discouraged that I was beginning to have "Oilers" flashbacks. But just when I was about to write this team off for this season, they jump up and play a halfway intelligent game. I liked Griffin's intensity and Francis has had two "playmaker-like" games in a row. Ming was dominating and Mobley was decent. Unfortunately, Taylor regressed from what I thought was a break-out performance.

I really liked the teamwork, the balance, and the defensive intensity. Has the team been reading the BBS? In the last two games, they have adopted many suggestions from this board. (Probably not, but something has happened) I am not totally convinced, but I am encouraged.

Also, I hope EG's performance will shut up all the Eddie haters for the time being. Had they realized Mo Taylor wasn't doing anything but wasting oxygen tonight, the Rockets would have had a much more impressive victory.

I thought the same thing, Cohen.

What fascinated me was that so many of our turnovers were from trying to pass the ball... man, we were really moving it around. I saw a lot of progress. Great job, Rudy. Let's keep it going.

I thought Mobes and Mooch had solid games. Cat has really played well recently. He still makes the bonehead play sometimes, but more often it's from trying to do something "within" the offense. Griff responded to MoT's game with one of his own... I could get used to that. And eventually they'll get used to Yao's passes. We're going to see some nice basketball. May it continue!

Heypartner, your looking pretty good right now...

Does anyone think the nasty (intentional) scratch on Yao's back set him off on his great performance? If so, it shows great character on his part in quickly re-gaining his focus and really taking it to the Magic centers.

Mo's game last night I think motivated Eddie. Now after Eddie's great game, Mo has to come back Friday and tear up SAR. Then Eddie comes to Compaq and burns the celts. Power forward problem...solved!
