Franchise is not better. He also has 5 TOs today and in the past
    Franchise often had key TOs.

Give the rookie a chance to learn. Personally I am
satified with their performance. They show consistency
to play on the road. The team is more mature than
    the first half.

This I agree with, wherwe was Posey a much better defender? Did you notice that Spree was like 0-100 until the end

    Inconsistency rules the day again.

Let's hope this collapse means we're going to destroy the Spurs.

It is a bad loss. Rox should've won. Hopefully, Rox can win against MJ and the Wizards on Thursday.

Yao needs to fix his TO problem. What does Shaq do in order to protect the ball on the low post?

So Yao got his touches but we lost the game.

Maybe he got too many touches down the stretch. :(

OK, I'm not serious, but people need to stop b****ing on this board. It's getting annoying.

Why the hell is Yao turning the ball over so much? Every time I watch the rockets play, he is getting it STRIPPED. It can't be that hard to protect the ball with your body and grip it tight.

Actually he is much shorter and stronger so he holds the ball much better. Also they never ever call a foul on Shaq so he can elbow you and oush on you and they won't call it. Shaq i the king of pushing off with his left hand, they never call it. As you can see anyone can kick Ming in the nuts, grab his jersey, poke his eyes, stab him, shoot him, and yes even fart on him and they will not call a foul.I would love to see Yao just flip one of the refs off after a no call then maybe he will get a call or two

You know, I was complaining about Rice not having enough minutes yesterday because Boston was double teaming Yao all game long. They were leaving Posey. Today, we needed Posey's defense more than Rice's shooting and guess who played. Is it me, or does Rudy and his sidekicks react a game too late. They just do not react fast enough!

How about double teaming Sprewell and Houston to get the ball out of their hands? How about letting the other guys beat us?

Give credit to the Knicks. They played well down the stretch.

Maybe Yao is too tall to dribble? No matter what, Shaq still needs to dribble a bit in order to get a better position for the dunk. Sometimes I do see guards poke the ball away from Shaq, but not as often for Yao.

Yeah, I agree all that Yao's TO and Steve's TO were really bad
in terms of hurting our chance of winning the game.

But it is our defense that we lost this game. Knicks shot 10/11
in the fourth quarter, Eisely and Sprewell's two three pointers
put the daggers in the Rox. I don't know. Maybe zone defense
should be used late in the fouth; Maybe Rudy should play Posey
a bit more. Not only did Posey play better D than Rice, he may get a poke of the ball, which would lead to the easy basket or something.

Right on ZRB. Yao loss this one fair and square. 2 huge turnovers and then no defense on 2 possessions.

    Clutch -
If you happen to find out the reason, pass it along to the rest of us because Rice was also in the game when the Celtics stretched their lead from 6 to 15 the night before.

I know I should feel terrible because we just pissed away a game, but somehow I don't feel too bad about this loss. Team is learning and Yao getting much more assertive - if you don't think so, JUST COMPARE HIM TO EARLIER IN THE SEASON. He's a quick study and will learn to protect the ball. And boy he really looks fatigued. Not to worry about Yao, he is special and is gonna be incredible.

Looks like we hit a fatigue wall late in the first half and just couldn't sustain the energy, effort or focus to grind out a road win. Happens to the best in back-to-backs.

Cat is really stepping up. Stevie is brave but he's got to quit dribbling into seven defenders over and over again - the refs aren't going to bail him out all the time. And Eddie has got to gain some offensive consistency, as teams are learning to expose him. Without handles, he just flings flat bricks:eek:

We lose when we should win, we win when we should lose.

    So what's new:confused: ;)

That wasn't because of Rice. The combination of players did not match up against that team. I don't know if Rudy has a very good feel for this team.

Also, the 3rd quarter was a waste today. Guess which two were trying to pad their stats. Yep, the usual suspects. We lost the game in the third quarter!

Sorry guys but Yao was not the only reason we lost this game. Rice plays defense worse than a Jr-High student and he was guarding SPREWELL !!!! in a clutch situation. Also steve had turnovers and Cat missed 2-easy layups. The whole team lost and Rudy made some bad decisions down the stretch, whats new!!

    Hmm...THAT SUCKED. :)

    Well.....let's try next game.

Isn't it a foul when a guy is holding you or pushing you or just hacking at you and just takes the ball away from you? It's not like Yao just dropped it and let him have it. That was terrible.

Our defense is too easily broken down. Just drive and go at Yao. Draw Yao or Griffin's attention and then pass it to the wide open guy who just stands there every single play and waits to shoot. There are too many good shooting teams.

OUR TEAM NEEDS AT LEAST ONE SHOOTER LIKE THEM WHO IS TALL.

NOT EDDIE GRIFFIN. Golly...he did all right. But man......we screwed up. lol

Oh please. Everyone had their TO's and someone scored a couple of key baskets down the stretch.. And who was that?

So no points were scored off of Yao's turnovers?
