I actually think we match up pretty well against the Kings. If SF can deliver another triple-double performance, we have a good chance of upsetting them in Arco.

I actually want the Rockets to win. They need it more then the Kings. The key matchup will be the center position. Im predicting that the Kings will blowout the rockets but i hope im wrong.

Rockets beat the Kings once without Webber, and the other time with Webber, but I believe without Bibby. Bobby J. was on a huge tear though so I don't think that one game mattered much. The first time the Rockets faced them, was when Yao was barely given the ball much, and we got crushed by I think 20+ at Arco, but we've won pretty convincingly twice both at home. I'm not sure what to expect, but I'll bet the Kings win pretty handily. It all depends on how many easy baskets the Kings get inside the paint (i.e how effective Yao can alter, block, and cause kick out perimeter passes from the Kings), and how hot the Kings are from the perimeter that night, as well as how fast the Rockets can get themselves in transition defense. I think the exfactor will be Posey. When he's making his perimeter buckets and is effectively slashing in the lane on offense, it completely opens up our entire offensive game because it gives us a good balance of inside and perimeter scoring. So as long as our regulars continue to put up their good numbers, and Posey plays extraordinary for a player of his caliber, the Rockets can win. There's so many things they'll have to do right though, that as one of the previous posters said, they'll have to play damn near perfect, which is possible, although not very likely.

The Kings are really hot, especially Bibby and Stojakovic when they beat the Trail Blazers.

BUT I am stilling longing for a miracle. After all, we lead the season series by 2-1. Go Rox! :D :p :)

Webber played 42 minutes last night, and their team is coming off a back to back.

They were on the road, have to fly back that night or next morning, and then play again.

The way to win is to SLOW the game down BIG TIME and make them work HARD for every single point. It will eventually wear them out.

These Kings are really a bunch of TRASH. A bunch of classless people and I would love to kick their asses.

I'm interested to see how Larry Smith's strategy of resting Yao in the second quarter to save energy for the fourth quarter works out against Divac and the Kings.

the rox's start out giving the ball to yao on the first six possessions. ming draws six charging fouls and fouls out after vlade divac flops six consecutive times within the first two mniutes of the game.

christie gives yao an elbow as yao leaves the court. fustrated, yao chases christie into the hall leading to the lockeroom and puts christie into a headlock.

    mo taylor takes over.

Even though amazingly the Rockets have a 2-1 edge on the Kings this year in their series I really don't see the Rockets winning this game. It is late in the year and the Kings are playing well and are at home. I am glad the Mavs took care of business last night with the Suns allowing us to be able to lose to the Kings and still be tied with the Suns in record.

While I don't expect the Rockets to win (thought I will be plesantly surprised if they do) I am hoping they put a "good effort" forward in this game the same type of effort they displayed in the Warriors game. I hope to see Francis and Yao play like the all stars that they are. We need to carry this effort forward in this game and then again against the Clippers tomorrow. The Rockets really need to win at least one of these games. That would give them a 2-3 road trip which is what I expected.

    Rockets - 112
    Kings - 110

Kings have two chances at game winning three pointers: Christie's 3 is a brick while Peja's attempt is an airball. Oh wait...that sounds kind of familiar

Rockets are a horrible road team. I'm suprised that we beat GS at home as well as the warriors have been playing. Rockets too inconsistent, Smith won't sub people correctly, webber will have his 30/15 game like usual against us, kings pull away in the 3rd...Kings 115 Rockets 92. :(

Kings have like 95% winning streak at home and they've been playing great.

Rockets get blown out and the 4 game losing streak starts here.

    PLEASE PROVE ME WRONG ROX!

The Rockets can give the Kings a good fight tonight if they defend well, rebound and move the ball around to get good shots. They also need to get to the free throw line when the shots aren't falling.

this is not going to be pretty. i am going to be a pessimist today. I dont think the rocks can win this one. The kings?! come on. well....we do have a chance, we did beat them before. If the rocks will stand up to the opposition again. They will win. other wise....ouch.

So are all rockets fans supposed to think Houston is the best team in the league even if they're not?
