Very proud of this team. Thought they could have folded and Rice may have been fouled by Christie on that 3, but Kings won fair and square. Yao and MoT's missed fts hurt, but they were solid otherwise.

Those guys left it all on the floor tonight. They couldn't shoot straight and were playing arguably the best team in basketball on the road. Tremendous effort that just came up short.

    hi

What a great game by steve, I feel sorry for him. I know it's stupid, but i hope he would save this performance for tommorow's game. Well, maybe he will be better tmr anyway.

    Go rockets.

What, pray tell, would you have liked him to do for the last shot?

This was a great game would have been betteld of hit some of those easy shots early on.

On negative about the game i don't want to say is Yao isn't the only person who need to learn how to go to the hole aggressively. Eddie plus there was several times in the first quarter where he just showed he is too passive when going to the hoop. Its so frustrating watching him on the offensive end.

how about take at least a step and a half more...which would have gotten him right to the 3 point line. The replay showed that there was more than 1, almost 2 seconds left when he let it go.

Damn...it's a friggin' tragedy and travesty all at once...

Since when does big Mr. Clutch Yao miss two big free throws?
As much as Mo Taylor kept us in the game, he also kept us out of it...1-4 from the line in his last trips? Leave those kind of numbers for Bruce Bowen.
Sometimes we have shooting Steve, and sometimes we have passing Steve. I really liked the nice balance between shots and passes. Phenomenal game by Stevie, couldn't ask for more out of him! Only 2 turnovers to boot!

I'm just rambling...I love the Rockets sooo much and when we show how good we can be with a game like this, it gives everyone hope...my hope is that they can keep up this kind of intensity.

Good luck against the Cripples...(anagram, nice!)

The fact that the rocks didn't get blown out makes me happy.

But a 20 doesn't advance you to half court, does it?

You take that 20 second and allow the defense to setup, and you might not get a shot off at all. Of course that assumes that you don't get it at half court.

you're right. I remeber one time when he got the offensive rebound and he was 1 foot away from the basket and could of just dunked it but instead miss the hook shot. He should just try to dunk everything when hes that close.

King announcers were very complimentary of Steve. Also, we had no TOs, according to the Sac broadcast. I thought Steve could have brought it a foot closer, but that would have gotten him closer to Jackson. I really wish WEbber would have made the second FT. Clock wouldn't have started immediately.

They showed a lot of heart tonight. Despite the loss, I don't feel all that bad. Their efforts tonight kept my faith that they are playoff ready. It's still too close to call as to whether they'll make the playoffs, but I believe they will. Our free throws killed us, and were Yao shooting his typical 50+% we'd probably be looking at a win here tonight. Nonetheless, a terrific effort tonight by our guys, especially Stevie. And congratulations to Yao for cleaning up the boards off the glass tonight.

Wasn't very subtle, was it? He hates Steve.
