If we make our free-throws then we win this game now we have to face one of our biggest nemises, the Clippers. You know they want us and we need that game. The Roxs played one of the best teams to the wire tonight, they played well, they showed HEART!! Thats what we have been missing all season. Good game Roxs!!

SO FREAKIN CLOSE!!!!!!! 2 amazing 3's and then a brick just off the side at the buzzer. only got to see from 2 minutes left in the 3rd but quite a good game. damn mo and yao with their free throws misses or cat on that one fast break. any of those would've been huge. well, lets see, everyone said they just wanted it to be competitive and they wouldn't be mad, see if they keep their words. steve apparently was amazing.

    Wow... tough loss :(

We had our chances though - Mo Taylor really needs to work on his ft's. With the soft touch that he has, he should be a much better free throw shooter than what he is. Yao also surprisingly missed 2 ft's... I say surprisingly b/c he is pretty clutch from the ft line.

Also what was going on with that fastbreak with Mo and Cat. I admire their efforts to share the ball, but Cat should have dribbled it up all the way and then passed it to MO to finish it off as opposed to passing it to him from the start.

All in all, great effort, just missed opportunities, and some tough luck.

There were no timeout left. We were really one timeout away from pulling this one. Tough loss. Kings bench really beat Rockets bench. King's bench PG is Bobby J. Our bench PG is Moochie. Makes hell of a difference.

They didn't have a timeout. I didn't expect them to win this game, but they sure could have. Francis was on fire and in the fourth, so was Taylor. Ming was like a vaccum cleaner, 19 rebounds, but missed free throws sealed the deal. I can't remember when I have seen a botched three on one break, but, anyway they played the Kings tough on their home court. That's something to build on.

All I have to say is great try, especially Steve. I love having a player that plays his guts out.

    What an exciting game.

First of all, this is nothing to get upset over. It is extremely hard to win at Arco Arena. First of all, the Kings outshot the Rockets 48% to 42%, and outrebounded the Rockets 54 to 42.

The upside is that the Rockets only committed 8 turnovers. Their offense was also reasonably fluid, although Mobley and Mo Taylor have no clue how to play offense sometimes. The free throws also were a problem, but overall, if Houston played every game like this, they would be a top 4 or 5 team in the W. Conference.

It came down to big shots, and the Kings hit plenty of them, as usual. Good game for the Rockets, even though they lost.
