We're not even in the same LEAGUE as Sacramento

Coming into this game, I felt optimistic. The Kings were missing 3 integral players... yes we were missing 2 of our players, but Bibby, Stojakovic, Turkey > Mobley, Rice. I wasn't necessarily expecting a win, but a close, competetive game. The Rockets didn't even provide that.

As a friend said to me, what good is having all these pf's if all of them suck? Eddie has been atrocious this year, Mo's shot continues to be horrible, and Kenny... well we all know Kenny's tendencies on offense. What was considered to be our strength coming into the season has been our weakness.

I hate how we begin our actual moves on offense with about 8 seconds left still. We do all this "motion", I see the players moving around, and then we finally begin our postup with Mo or our pick and roll with Steve with barely any time left on the clock.

Stevie! When you have your 7'5 center running down the court on the fastbreak, please find a way to give him the ball. Also I rarely see Ming recieve the ball after the pick and roll with Stevie... I duno if it's b/c they are paying extra attention to Ming, but you would think it's not too hard to find such a huge target with soft hands. If Steve can find Cato for all those alleyoops, why not Ming? Ming can't jump like Cato but he can certainly get up just as high as him because of his height.

What's up with Moochie's domination of the ball 2nite? Give the ball to Yao some more please! Calvin Murphy is screaming GIVE THE BALL TO YAO on every single play. And Ming needs to freakin take some shots! He's so damn unselfish... he passes it across the court to MOochie who can do nothing with it and the play results in a 24 second shot clock violation. Ming, please take more than 4 shots in a half, and Rockets please run more plays for Ming. Oh, and another gripe I have is when yao comes to the top of the key area and receives the ball. He needs to shoot the ball when he has it there! Currently, he is always always passing the ball, and there is absolutely no threat of a shot. It's no different from when Cato receives the ball there.

And when Yao flashes across the lane, he must ALWAYS, ALWAYS get the ball. Yes he foolishly got stuffed by Vlade, but he'll learn to use his left hand to shield the ball. Basically, Yao needs to be much more involved in the offense, and he must also take it upon himself to score more. Unless he is double teamed or has an OPEN Glen Rice or Cuttino Mobley on the perimeter, he must force the issue and force teams to respect him.

As I write this, the Rockets are down by 23... please put NACHBAR in the game! At least let him get his feet wet!

It just saddens me that a team that only has 9 players suited up can come in and basically dominate us. yes, we'll improve, but it seems like we took steps backwards tonight.

I dont mind the Rox loosing to a top team but to-night is a disgrace how can the Rockets call themselves a Team and how can Steve call himself a leader, how can Rudy T call himself a Coach. This brand of aimless basketball is doom , they need to go back to the drawing board!!!!!

We are getting our asses handed to us and Instead of putting in boki he puts griff and Tito in. I am about to give up on this coaching staff. I am going to the game on saturday and I am going scream for boki every other minute. The other minute I will scream KENNY SUCKS. We only have 3 players that can hit a shot this year. Steve,YAO,Rice and Rudy continues to go with griff, Kenny , and hawk. I just do not understand it. I can not believe I am about to say this but I would rather see mobely jacking up shots because atleast he will hit 45% of them

FYI: Pollard, Cleaves, Price, Bibby, Turkoglu, Stojakovic.
Those are all of the Kings who are not playing due to various injuries. We just signed Jim Jackson today so we could suit up 9 players for tonight's game. 8 players is the league minimum, which we have played with three times this season.

Top 3, AB, I'll go one step further-They are your NBA champions this year, look at how free flowing and easy they play. It's as if they aren't trying but they still blow you out, without all star talent in Bibby and Peja. And Turkoglu would be a star on any other team.

The kings are special, they know how to play as a team always.

The rockets are a playoff team, but when we take the next step it will be with the offense going through Yao, and the quicker they realize it the better.

KT is a detriment to this team with his me first attitude, he needs to look at Wallace at Sacto, he knows his limitations and flourishes within them. Yet thomas has a poor outside shot and insists on shooting from out there.

I'm serious, if the guards and wings on this team refuse to look down low to Ming first and foremost, they first get benched, then if they don't figure it out soon enough, you trade them.

Yao should've got the ball all 2nd and 3rd quarter, then setup Steve, but no we can't do that.

We are a marginal upper half to great lower seeded playoff team who needs to learn from watching this game in film. The Kings are who they should emulate. I hope for our sake(the fans) they figure it out sooner than later, not because I am down on our potential, but you never know how long your window will stay open for greatness.

Even though it has just been a couple of plays I think we can safely say that Boki doesn't suffer from Langhitis, it is just an extreme case of no-playingitis

    completley curable

It seems to me that this team has one thing really holding it back -- intelligence. Flat out, the Rockets are not a smart team. It's not just KT or Cuttino, but damn near every single player. They take bad outside shots, don't get the ball to the post when it's open, throw the ball away at will, and leave players open for easy buckets.

I mean, don't get me wrong, we probably couldn't beat the Kings tonight anyways, but this is the problem that has plagued us for the past six games -- they are playing very STUPID basketball. I don't really think it's Rudy's fault as much as it is the players'. You can see plays designed to go down low, or to hit a cutter, and they just flat out don't pass it. Yao Ming keeps getting good position, and instead they swing the ball around the outside. Kenny gets the ball on the high post, stands for 13 seconds, then throws up a bad shot.

WOW, I just saw Boki's assist to TMO. NICE!!! That was a smart play. Yao Ming has been playing smart. Heck, in Tito's few minutes, he's been playing smart basketball. These last few minutes of the game, they've been playing somewhat intelligently. Good passing, etc. I'd like to see more Tito and Nachbar -- they seem to work well together . . .

You do realize the Kings quit playing defense after the 3rd quarter, don't you?
