Wow, really nice prediction there. Can you give me any lotto numbers? I'm really impressed with the Rox tonight. You could see it in their eyes last night, especially Steve's, they were devestated. Steve looked like he wanted to punch something. I wonder what the plane trip was like last night?

Despite the win, the Rox will not make the playoffs.

I just hope they don't feel any sort of real relief or anything yet... they can't afford any sort of let-up or inconsistency anymore. If they were pissed today, they have to stay pissed, especially with a sub-par team coming up.

I believe this is the first game this season that the Rockets have won all their four quarters in the same game! Go Rocks! :) :D

    -G'day-

Here's a worthless stat from the Salt Lake Tribune:

...Yet the result might be the surest indicator yet of Yao's pending greatness, considering that neither Jordan nor Bryant nor Shaquille O'Neal nor Hakeem Olajuwon won his first game in Utah.

I wouldn't blame it all on Malone getting hurt (again), that didn't happen until about 30 seconds before half-time. The Rockets were already playing great. It's a great road win, which is a huge confidence builder for a young team.

from Clutch's recap, just love this part about Malone's little nose... :D

It is better to win by 1 than to win by 30...

A blowout does not test ones fortitude.

A little bird once told me that... ;)

I didnt get to watch the game because I live in a hell hole called Dallas now, but it seems like Cat wasn't able to mess up the game by shooting everytime he touched the ball. Good to see Steve actually stepped up and became a leader, something this team needs everynight, and not from role players.

Yeah, but if you win them all by 30, you don't have to test your fortitude...you already know it's there. :p

You haven't been around long, but only about 6 people onthe board ever have anything positive to say about Mobley. Every (losing) team needs a scapegoat, and the Rockets have certainly found theirs.

That's what I'm taking about baby...

This games was freakin' awesome. Everytime I thought they would give up the lead and choke, they kept the shots coming.

Let's hope they keep it up.

We aren't a losing team, buddy, and you woulda been slapped around for even thinking something like that about 11 games ago.

this was a most meaningful 30point blowout victory for the Rox :D ! 'Cuz the Lakers blewout the Nuggets by 30 points too... and the caboose ride into the Western Conference 8th seed is in a way, measured up by these 30 point killaz..... but somehow 30pts over the elevator-music Jazz look more convincing than fools-gold Nuggets. ;)

ok Rox. Do the Heat first and foremost on the 14th. the 4 day rest leading up to the Lax...... day 1: REST /day 2: workout the Lakers strategy /day 3: moderate workout /day 4: more workouts! Any better suggestions? FEBRUARY 18TH 2003!!!!!

"Meaningful" means that you can do it on a constant basis.

But, wining by 30 one night and then losing by 30 the next night means nothing else except inconsistency.
