Ok, I stand corrected. KT is shooting very well, with 18 pts at the half. And we have our first lead at the half.
Steve appears to be trying too hard to drive the ball. He's gotten caught in traffic and turned the ball over a few times. I think he has 4 pts, out of about 8 shots. Hopefully he'll warm up the second half, and take better shots.

 

im not watching, just looking at the box but where the hell did everyone go except for thomas? those are yao ming stats there

Maybe Rudy doesn't want to play Yao big minutes against a physical front line on the first night of back to back games. Yeah, stupid coach.

Since Yao became a Rox, I am losing my interest in Sixers everyday. I don't know why because I used to love AI so much and hate Steve as a Showboat.
But now, I am following every Rox game.

OK, it's one thing to rest a player for his good, it's another thing to bench a player the entire quarter. Maybe Rudy's intension is good. But to me, it's just stupid substitution. You can say whatever you want about saving Yao's energy for the second half, but you have to remember a player needs to get into the "flow" of the game in order to perform well. That's why those players need to warm-up before the game and also players normally don't shoot very well at the beginning of a game but shoot better as the game goes on. But the way Rudy is playing Yao today - the second half might be just a new game for him. I mean, come on. It's not rocket science to figure out that you can't play a player for one quarter, then bench him for 2 quarters, and then play him the entire 4th and expect him to perform well due to the "saved energy". That's just plain stupid.

 

Exactly. I'm fine with fans being here only to cheer on only Yao Ming but when they criticize Rudy just because he won't play him, it freaking ticks me off.

 

Yeah, of course I'm a Yao fan. Maybe a big Yao fan. I enjoy seeing Yao perform then sitting. I've already seem enought of him sitting for many games now. If you're a big fan of certain players you will understand. I'm not a real big fan of the Houston Rockets because of most of the players on the team. That's how i am, I'm a Yao fan first before I become a Rockets fan. For now I'm mostly a Yao fan until Houston give me a good reason to become a Rockets fan.

 

how is steve going against baron? im also a little concerned about how yao is doing against magloire, he's been scoring a lot and grabbing more rebounds
