The officiating is getting rediculous now. Rudy should go off on the refs more often so they will overcompensate next game like they are for Riley.

So far, all Yao's shots came from offensive rebounds. Isn't this pathetic?

Rudy, please play Kenny for 1 more minute and then play EG the rest of the game!!! Not Kenny's night tonight!

Doesn't it seem like Yao would have 0 pts if he wasn't such a good offensive rebounder....the kid can still have an impact even if he's not the offensive focal point.

1st half, ball is passed to Ming in post 3 times: 8:00 minutes of 1st quarter and he is grabbed by Grant and makes 2 free throws, with 1:00 minute left 1st he is passed a lob while being fronted and a double behind him and unable to move to catch the lob. Then in the 2ed quarter with 5:30 left he gets a pass and misses the shot. His only shot in the first half.

The man with the highest percentage shooting in the league and he get one shot in a half?????

They might win this game playing like this but only because Miami is so bad. This is even worse then the last two as for using Ming.

He is learning how to play with Francis, Mobey and Thomas as he is getting the rebounds and putting them back instead of passing them out in the second half.

Yao is getting called for bogus fouls. I mean, bogus. They finally put up a few replays, and I'm convinced that they aren't showing more replays due to the fact that the officiating is appalling. At least we're winning.

PREDICTION: Steve hogs the ball in the fourth quarter and we lose by 1.

the next time i see steve francis at least put up a hand to defend the shot when his man shoots from the outside...will be my first. good thing i record the games, so maybe i can send copies to the FBI. maybe they can do a full blown JFK-assassination-type video analysis to try to find just one instance of this.

    good luck though.

Agree!! Not bad at all in this sucky guards-oriented ISO system. I say it now: the way Rockets are playing now, even if they win, heck even if they blow a team out by 30 points, there's really no joy watching them. This is simply bad basketball. Look at the assist number. 8 assists out of 27 made shots??

And now we're leading in pfs.
    Looks like Riley-talk is working.

    Miami announcers on Steve Francis:

"He pounds the ball on the floor more than anyone I've ever seen...While he's looking for the seams, his teammates are just standing around."

Sad thing is, their comments have been echoed by many opposing team announcers.

Just to add to it, if I was in Yao's shoes, whoever came at me next would be eating floor, and I'd hold my hand up high before he even landed.

And if Yao was smart, he'd do it while Grant is on the bench
