No need to play Yao and Stevie more if it wasn't needed. Save 'em for the big games against the Lakers and Spurs.

the guy's good. but why does it seem that we're always trying to let him get as much rest as possible? what are we saving him up for now? is he really that big a resourceful commodity? it would seem to me that if you really wanted a rookie coming in from china to get as much experience possible, you'd get him to play more and more. right now, i'm thinking yao's numbers are down not because he sucks that much, but because he's being benched when he doesn't need to be.

Well, he's already playing the 3rd most minutes out of all rookies, so it's not like he not touching the floor. I don't think it's going to be very productive to play him 40 minutes a game.

Tonight, he got into early foul trouble, and we never really needed him again. So let him rest, Shaq daddy is waiting.

arif, I know you were being facetious. So was I. Imagine how many angry posts would be on here if they put that lineup out there vs the Lakers?

montelwilliams bet me a week or so ago that the Clippers would beat the Rockets. The next night the Rockets beat the Clippers in overnight, and now they pound the Clippers tonight. Maybe I should have taken him up on his bet! ;)

Just got back from staples center. My wife told me this was one of most boring games she's ever seen. Nevertheless, Rox won this important game by a blown-out. First thing I did when I came back was to check the result of Sonics vs Suns game. It was soooo sweet to see Seattle beat Suns. Go rockets!

awww, yao didn't have good stats. i guess y'all will have to cry yourselves to sleep tonight. we won by 20! no one puts there stars in during the 4th when they're up 20. everyone rests their stars for upcoming games. you especially rest them when your star needs all the rest he can get during his rookie season. yes he is that big of a commodity that we need to rest him and he certainly isn't gonna learn anything playing 6 extra minutes in garbage time.

awesome game by the rox. made me a little nervous when the lead hit 15, but it was back at 20 within a minute and it was all good again. nice easy win. now to lose two in a row to LA and SA. we ain't winning these games folks.

Was Francis hurt? I can't think of any other reason for seeing his 25 minutes and 2-8 shooting on a night the ENTIRE team was tearing it up. Even if it was a blowout, I'd still think he'd be in longer than that unless he was hurt. Is there any news? Or was Stevie just out for the night?
