Teams are learning from Dallas and let their centers shoot mid-range jumpers. This is the same strategy teams used against Shaq. What should Rox do ?

Passing ability means that you are able to pass the ball to all of your teamates on the court, not just the best players in the league. I agree Yao needs to work on how to play when he is double teamed or triple teamed. But he can never learn to do that if nobody wants to pass him the ball.

Even if the Rocket lost today, it still would have been one of SF's better games.

    The 2 turnovers is what I like.:D

But since I didn't see the game (damn NBATV!), I'm not sure how the offesnive flow went.

Sounds like the first three quarters were a struggle (?).

Anyone know what was going on in the 1st half?

Man, this kind of win is really amazing, but also frustrating to see the Rockets play like crap for most of the game, only to get their act together in the final moments of the game. If they could play like this for even just 30 minutes a game, they would be blowing people away. That's the most frustrating thing about the Rockets, despite this awesome win, that got so much damn talent, you just know they could be better if they could all get on the same page.

Unfortunately, I'm not sure if the Rockets will try to take any lessons from this game, because they managed to pull off the miraculous victory. Francis and Mobley played AMAZING, but despite this they still BARELY won. When two of your stars have great nights like that, the score really shouldn't even be close. Not that I'm looking a gift horse in the mouth, but at the same time, 10 minutes of magic, doesn't completely excuse the previous 40 minutes of misery.

A win is a win. Even they lose, still don't expect them to learn anything from it.

That makes me feel better. But this is Boston. If it is a team like Dallas who can shoot 3 like crazy, how are the rox ever going to beat them without knowing how to pass the ball under this kind of defense?

Time to enjoy this huge win! Cat and Franchise were SICK!!! Burned the Celts at their own game! If Yao helped suck in the defense so that the guards can make all those shots power to him and the team!

Any wins the rest of the season is a bonus! Next season's when the expectations kick in!

Now the last playoff spot is ours to lose.

No excuses, we have to get in!

Yes, their 17-38 record is very impressive. So is the 100.7 points per game they give up(27th in the league).

Thats the point I'm trying to make. All Yao has to do in games like this is just get doubled and tripled team and we will have wide open shots....Boston Sucks and Pierce has something wrong with his face and Walker has a really round head, kinda big!!:D

It's all about the backcourt baby!

    What a great game.

    Francis and Mobley were flawless.

Ming played decent, yet he need to learn to stay on his man. This is the second center in recent games that was burning us from the outside with no one to guard him (Bradley-Dallas and Batt-Boston). I believe he will have a great game tomorrow in Ney York and bounce back properly.
