That's why he needs to step down and let another guy coach this team.

if he cannot control his team, cannot design play, cannot assign a player as his extension on the court, then what the hell is he doing on the bench????

improvise??? that is what they are great at. improvising plays that does not work.

hrocket, give the guy a break. no offense meant but you've obviously never been in such an environment. ie pro player/coach.

    no offense taken.

fyi, my uncle is a pro player and i've been in the pro environment. it may not be as a pro coach. but i've been around the best of them. and btw, i coached a varsity team.

No kidding...a Rocket who knew his job and understood the ever so complex notion of getting the ball to the big guy who is very good at basketball.

hrocket, you give Rudy too much credit...
He wants "spacing" when the guys are *standing* too close to each other, when they are *standing* around.
Not necessarily because he wants ISO space. See, he wants spacing when they *stand around!*

    Heh heh... :D

It's kinda like saying, "Dont' just be lazy. Be lazy with some spacing!"

    ;)

the rockets are falling through the cracks,,,,,

they better do some soul searchin,,, i fear an injury to one of our starters will cost us the playoffs,,,, yes we have talent,,, a lot of talent,,, but rudy is not exploiting our talent and allowing them to reach there full potential in his unorganized and sporatic offensive scheme,,,, maybe we should get nachbar out there,, maybe we need a trade,, maybe we just need the guidance of rice out there,,, but whatever it is RUDY T should be filling those voids as a coach,,,, i mean we have lost 7 of the last 10 games,,,, and we lost to a lottery team today (not the first time this season either),,,,,,, for u fans who still have confidence,,, as of now the way things are going we ain't going no where,,,,, and i hate to say this something has got to change,,,, LES we love rudy but i think he has no control over the team,,, we had our sweet moments with rudy but i think its time he changes the way he deals with the team or he leaves,,, its been 4 or 5 years of rebuilding,, come on how much more time do u need,,,

Wait so I get out of class and I check to see how bad we whooped up on the Cavs and I see-- Can it be, did we actually lose to the freaking Cavs?!?!? What the heck?!! No really, the Cavs, the worst team since basketball was invented! What is the excuse this time, too young? Need time together? Steve's not a guard?

No, the answer is quite simply these ruffians just don't care. They don't have the poise and smarts to play like professionals every night. When will a leader step up?

The Bulls had freaking Luc Longley, Bill Wennington, and some other cad playing center and they were winning championships off game winning shots by Steve freaking Kerr!!! They played team basketball. Sure they had the greatest player ever, but the other 4 guys were scrubs compared to the rest of the league. Nobody on this team is making any other player better except Yao. When will they learn to pass and to play basketball. Morons. Cads. Big Talent Ass Clowns.

twhy77 you saved me a post because everything you just said is the truth but you left out the part about Getting rid of "move out of the way and check this move out Cuttino Mobley." and Firing "Guys do whatever you want and shoot as much as you want and take crapy shots and many 3-pointer," Rudy T. Your luck you din't see the game. 7 turnovers for the Franchise and one big one with 12 seconds left to play.

Yeah, it looks like we were about to complete the come back, our franchise threw a bad pass to the streaking Yao and the pass was picked off.

Posey did his share too. Not only he shot badly throughout the game, the last three pointer was terrible decision and he also missed a free throw in the last minute.

    Poor luck.

    :(

No really I am living in absurd fantasy land. I have loved the Rockets since I went to a game in first grade about 1986 or so. And then I get out of class and find that the same franchise just lost to the Cavs. Who the hell plays on that team? They only have fans because people in town to check out the Rock and Roll hall of Fame see that there are plenty of tickets left and they will be able to say, hey I saw the Cavs before they got Lebron James, thats how long I've been a Cavs fan.

Screw attacking Iraq, we should attack Mobley, feed him some biological wepaons, give him a lobotomy so he quits playing like the stupidest person ever. Yeah I know a person gets a lobotomy and gets smarter.

How hard is it to get in to Rhode Island College anyway? Did he even take his SAT's? AHHHHH the tragic thing is he so incredibly talented, he just needs a brain. His new nickname should be scarecrow. I want to burn something. Erghhh.

I meant to say he is the only person besides Homer Simpson who would get smarter with a lobotomy.
