need i say more???!!! If Les Alexander do not fire Rudy T. Rudy should just step down as coach. All of you who are for the firing of Rudy T., please speak up.

They all have the tools to not only go to the playoffs but also win the division. This is not happening with Rudy as the coach. Even Johnny Kerr is wondering why Yao is not getting the ball. Rudy is getting payed to run ISOLATION plays. Even my wife can coach this team if that is the only play they have.

    I have the same questions.

Yao Ming played the whole third quarter and he didn't touch the ball ONCE in the first TEN minutes.

Why was Yao taken out from the last play? He sould stand in the middle and hold his hands up.:(

This is exactly what surprised me as well. Yao doesn't get to be involved with the offense, so I guess he's in there for defensive purposes.....??.......but for the final plays in the fourth, Yao comes out, and Cato comes in.....??.........for defense? Why not just sit Yao on the bench? Why not have both of them on the court in the final seconds, along with Eddie?

I remember Dream said once Rudy T doesn't understand "big man's game". I thought Dream was joking.

Now I think maybe he had a point.

If Yao had run out of gas then it would have been understandable not to give him the ball but he was in the game for the whole 3rd quarter. Teams do make adjustments but we just don't push the ball up the court well enough and end up taking difficult shots and missed free throws. James Posey should have gotten more chances today as well.

Also during the Olympics, I remember that during a game, Tim Hardaway was yelling at Rudy. I can't remember for what but something to the effect of not being able to make up his mind on drawing up the play.

I actually think that the Rockets played better in this game than in the games against Dallas and Detroit. We just didn't have the ball bounce our way at the end. The bulls are actually very good at home (they are 15-7 at home now). Please do not start two thousand fire Rudy threads after each loss. It's good to see that Yao finally has a good shooting game. He definitely needs this one after his subpar performance over the last few games. Maybe it will give our guards (and Rudy) confidence to go to Yao more. This team is young and it's normal for them to have ups and downs over a long season. The bottom line is that we are much better than we were last year and we should make the playoffs if we play up to our potentials.

Steve Francis said it was a fluke that Fizer got the ball in. Even if he is right that does not excuse our poor play today.
When will these guys ever learn from their own mistakes?

Yes, Steve didn't play a good game today. More turnover than assist; poor shooting percentage. Take most of the shots even he was cold and forced bad shots after bad shots. His court vision is a big problem. As a pg, how come he didn't see which teammate is hot and which has an open shot. It doesn't happen once or twice. It happens all the time.

Even as much as I am defending him before, it comes to a point that something must be done to break this up.

    from espn.com:

Yao scored on a wild shot with his back to the basket to tie the game at 87 with just under five minutes to go, hooked in a shot and score again from close range as the Rockets went inside to him several times in the final quarter.

Yao, cheered warmly at the United Center, shot 6-of-9 from the field after two straight games under double figures.

``I'd like to thank them for coming,'' Yao said.

``It was a very physical game, but I think every game is physical.''

Chicago's 7-1 Tyson Chandler tried to put the task of guarding the 7-6 Yao in perspective.

``He's a big human being and once he gets that shot going, there's not much you can do about,'' Chandler said. ``It's unbelievable for a man that size to have that touch.''

why took Yao out afterward? and not pass him the ball?

Wow this gets old really fast, If this trend continues we'll most certainly lose on Monday vs the Grizz. It's fun that despite playing poorly, the game was close, and it came down to a broken down lucky play. We lost because of the great defense by Posey, he knocked it away from Rose, I wouldn't change his great D on that play, but I feel like it just came down to us getting a bad break.

Lately it seems like the only thing we're able to do is lose, I think I might have preferred to not beat the Lakers because ever since then we've lost 4 in a row.

I still believe, I see the Rockets making the playoffs this year or at least finishing with a winning record.

I honestly don't know where to solidly put the blame. I will start with Rudy T. Yes, Steve and Cat think it's all about them; but Rudy gives them the green light so that Yao doesn't have all the pressure on him. Well, I can understand that to a small extent.

But the attitude that Steve and Cat display, especially Steve...the unbelievable selfishness. They lose to teams they should beat because they don't take them seriously enough. Hell, look at the way they slammed Dallas, after losing to them...twice. So they came out in the second half with an 8 point lead acting as if they were safe.

And Rudy has to take some blame for that. The coaching staff must get on these guys.

But what if the coaches do get on them? What if they just don't listen?

I don't know how to think, I'm so p!ssed, but this team cannot stay together. You have the second best center in the league right now, and he never touches the ball.

Look for a trade before next season. Cat or Steve will be gone. And Rudy better be damned glad he has Yao and that he has such a history with this team, and a friendship with CD.

    What suck-a$$ bullSh**.

P.S. I got to see this game, for a change (it was on thanks to this being the Midwest). Just a question: Do Steve and Cuttino even know how to pass? Our guards dribbled to the rack or shot every single time.

Luckily, I did not watch this game. But base on this board, fans are really pissed off with SF and Rudy. Yao did not get the damn ball and he was not in the final play. These may have caused Rocket the game.
I've been following the Rocket games closely including the latest Laker game. it seems to me that SF is always try to get the stats in every game all by himself. It was lucky we won the Laker game because all focus was on Yao when he was hot early of the game. That force Jackson to change his game plan which took Shaq off the paint area and make it open for SF. Yes, we won that game and I wasn't amused the fact that SF has the season high because this type of ISO play will not win us a whole lot of games.
In most of the game I been watching, Yao most likely did not get the ball when he is opened. He most likely get the ball when he is well covered so he had to take fade away shot most of the time. And the pity thing is, most of the time he played pick-and-roll or screen for the teammate to throw up brick. If Rocket gonna use him for screen play, they should have draft a sumo wrestler that would do a better job than Yao.

Question: Did the Rocket's Owner and management watch any games at all. How come they don't see what we see here. Do they have basketball IQ like the rest of the players???

And this is from Bulls board:Do you believe they don't get Yao more touches? This guy scored at will whenever he got the ball in the paint. Good thing they have a bunch of ballhogs! . This is quite ironic, isn't it?

As much as we express dislike about the type of play and the Coach game plan. The Rocket organization didn't give a damn about it as long as they have good attendances in the game. To be honest, fans need to do something in the game like putting paper bags on their heads or holding up banner about their 2 cents.
The pressure is on when the Chron's commentary write something about this. That's the only way to shake them up.
