I totally agree with Dallas Rocket. Not getting Yao involved in the early part of the 3rd quarter cost us the game.

Didn't Mobley say that he wanted to be an All-Star? Didn't Steve say before the game that Mobley deserved to be an All-Star?

If Posey and Yao get hot and get the ball all the time, they will be All-Stars, not Francis and Mobley. How could they allow this to happen?

    :(

    We don't need Francis.........................................
    ?

    Okay. Let's fire him.

Sure. Fire him. Moochie can lead the team. Surely Gary Payton can lead us. Who else is available?

SAD GAME. the Pistons are an average team? Last time I viewed their record, they were right behind the Indiana Pacers...

it wasnt our guards that were freezing yao or posey. thats partly rudys fault. and dont call mobley a ballhog. he played well yet they only got him 11 shots. i was really confused y they kept going to francis despite his selfishness. It is amazing that yao did not touch the ball for 10 min to start the 3rd. also, it seemed mobley was starting to get hot in the third, but again they went away from him the rest of teh way.

I only tuned in for the start of the second Half. What I saw was what I predicted as a fear prior to the season and what has been happening during most of the Rockets Games. Nothing is fixed and the problems will go on till the end of the Season. If Rudy hasn't seen the problems or his players so out of control, that he just wont make the required adjustments. Then all is lost and we may end up loosing several key players. One bright spot, if you can call it that, Steve Francis had a decent line of stats.

Our team had 28 wins last year without Yao. Wake up Rudy!!! You can't win with only Francis and Mobley. We proved that the last 3 years. We need to use Yao! This is getting ridiculous. Rudy has decided Yao must be tired, so we won't use him in the offense.

Sorry Yetti. I love the guy's heart, but 7 turnovers, shooting about 33% FG ... being part of making Jalen Rose look like MJ ... Not a bright spot.

I am amazed by the lack of BBall IQ on this Rox team. The rest of the league must be glad that we are throwing games away.

If they don't make any adjustment to fix the problem. Then I hope they keep on losing until someone gets fired and/or traded.

Sorry to bring this 'I said so' up -
first time, it's a good team; 2nd, it's back-to-back;3rd, becausing we are missing EDDIE; 4th, Whoops, we ran out of excuses...

Sorry, Rudy, you just do not have a consistent game plan! And losing to bad teams consistently is just unacceptable.

And this is the exact same thing the "negative" posters have been complaining about all year. As you, yourself, noted, they have lost to bad teams all year (today was nothing new). Their style of play has been the same all year, yet when they were 23-17 you called them "solid". Since then they have exhibited the same basketball acument that they have all year. They have had a number of good wins and a number of bad losses. There is absolutely no difference (except for 2 more losses) between today's team and last Thursday's team.

This game is a perfect example of how the season has gone. The Rockets make a few shots, get a lead and then become all full of them selves. They start coasting a little, trying to showboat a little and forget anything about team ball and blow a game that they had control over and should have won! We are entering the 3rd quarter of the season and just like this game today we have come out uninspired!

    That's IT!!! I can't take it anymore!!!

Many of you know I've always been an avid defender of the Rockets backcourt, but it's getting very hard to justify it anymore.

They can do so much, but why haven't they been lately??? How is Francis' ATR so pathetic? (worst among gaurds in the league).

We have effectively NULLIFIED our oh-so impressive 4-game win streak. We very consistently show incredible amounts of inconsistency, and I'm SICK or it!!!

I want to see some damn changes!!!

"The Bulls haven't neutralized Yao, the Rockets have" Bulls announcer.

All those that defend Rudy T, that is the season in a nut shell. I loved him as the coach in the past but he is not the right guy for this team. HOW MANY teams would love to have a guy like YAO post up and start the offense????? I have watched this happen, time and time again. This is the best the rockets can do with minimal injuries through out the year?????The rockets either need trade one of the guards for another low post threat or they need to hire a new coach. I don't care what any one says but this team is under achieving big time. They won 45 games with a lot less talent 2 years ago. I have always felt that Rudy T lead teams have under achieved ever since 95-95. They have had 3 of the best players in the NBA for all but the last 3 years and have not done much at all. 15 game losing streak last season even without Francis is not excusable. The argument that this is a very young team, which is why they lose these games has no merit what so ever. Min, Utah, S.A. and may be even PHX have a lot less talent then the Rockets but they are doing much better. Not running plays and making stupid coaching decisions is not related to being a young team. It is the sign of an undisciplined team. The rockets will never win with ISO'S being the only play then run. It sad as it may sound, the Bulls are only a few road wins away from being as good as the rockets. SAD, SAD....SAD...

Rockets did OK against Fizer. He's averaging 15 pts/6.5 rbs in January, and he put up 12/4 today.
