I think i'm gonna cry...either that or throw up. Can't believe we shot ourselves in the foot again. That horrible third quarter and sorry free throw shooting throughout the game cost us big time. Guess you add this to the list of "ones that got away." On a positive note, especially from someone who feels at times it seems Rudy can't diagram a play to save his life, I liked the play Rudy drew up for the final shot. Too bad it didn't quite work, but you had Cato jumping over Rose at the rim. Too bad it wasn't Brunson or someone shorter, or else we might have been looking at OT. Well my Super Bowl Sunday is officially ruined!!

Being a little bit more realistic, a major trade should come first.

WITHOUT QUESTION, THE DUMBEST TEAM IN THE NBA

We didn't lose this game at the buzzer, we lost it by YAO NOT TOUCHING THE BALL FOR THE FIRST 10 MINUTES OF THE THIRD QUARTER. Even the announcers said" this guy is unstoppable and they wont throw him the ball!"

Way to convert an 8 point lead into a twelve point deficit. And Rudy just sits there:confused:

The inmates are running the asylum:rolleyes:

pathetic, absolutely pathetic. we were outrebounded by the Bulls. We were also "out-passed" by a team without their starting point guard. I guess a good high-school team could out-pass the Rockets right-about now.

lol.. the Rockets making the playoffs is laughable at the rate they're playing. It's ok losing to some tough teams like Dallas, San Antonion, and even Detroit. But losing to teams like Chicago, when you absolutely NEED a win to offset the losses against the good teams is unacceptable.

At least Yao seems to be getting out of his slump... hopefully as he begins to re-emerge, the Rockets will also follow suit.

"The Bulls haven't neutralized Yao, the Rockets have" Bulls announcer.

    Regarding Francis and Mobley's ball-hogging.

Didn't you say this the other day:

"..I'm just getting a bit tired of all the negativity and criticism surrounding this solid, 23-17 team...."

I guess 3 days ago they were a solid team and now they are not? What's changed? It is the same players and the same coach.

I think I'll agree with A-Train's pessimism regarding the Rockets unless they make some drastic changes soon.

It is the guards control this team, and they thought they were the best.

The Rockets didn't deserve any last second calls because they came out expecting to win. Officials respect teams that play hard, and the Rockets certainly didn't do that.

This is the seventh time the Rockets have lost to a sub-500 team this year. That's the difference between 30-12, and 23-19.

    Pathetic! Pathetic!

    PATHETIC!

This team, if we can call it a team, needs some immediate changes. There is no way we will make the post season playing this way.

Here are things I blame for ur losing today:

    1. effors. missing too many free throws. hard to win on the road.
    2. poor strategy by rudy. Where was Yao on the last two plays?
Will he be able to block or alter shots?
Coach may think Bulls offensive rebounding is Yao's fault,
but he actually went for blocks and could not get back for them.

I liked how Francis slipped everytime he tried to turn the corner. I'm sure we'll hear about how slippery the court was during post game interviews. Also, how many freaking lay-ups can an NBA team miss. I mean, come on. Go in there looking to finish, not draw contact and expect the refs to bail you out. Also, lost in all of this, when Moochie got that flagrant foul call, he missed both FTs and then when we got the ball back, we failed to convert again. It's plays like that which enable a lesser team to hang around and account for the margin of defeat in close games

See, this is an example of average players getting the best of the Rockets.

It happens time and time again...

Watch Fizer in the next few games. He'll score 8 points. And sit on the bench.

Another no-name player that comes in and outplays our starters.

I nominate this to be the quote of year from Rockets opposing team announcers.

    Two questions

why Ming wasnt passed the ball in the entire 3rd quarter?
why Ming isnt put in for the last defensive play? Cato didnt even bother to jump on that play. If Ming were there, I really dont think Pfizer would be able to have the look and shoot.

I give up on Rox and Rudy.T. This team is going nowhere this year.

The reason we lost today is:

    1. Missed FT
    2. Stevie took too many shots!!! He is a PG. Nobody else on the team took more than 9 shots. Stevie took more than 25 shots!

At least we can't blame this one on Mobley's selfishness.

    6-11, 19 pts, 4 assists, one TO
