Is there anyway to gather some quotes made by the all the national/opposing commentators about the Rockets? Some of their comments are hilarious.

I agree with alot of the opinions expressed here. But everyone is talking about Yao. If you remember last season, the Rox blamed injuries for the record. They said that if Steve and Glenn had been healthy, we would have made the playoffs. That means with or without Yao. I think Yao is a great talent, and is an integral part of the team now. But management said last year that we would make the playoffs with a healthy team as it was last year. If that is true, the Rox should be a 5th or 6th seed with Yao.

Basically, the team has totally disappointed. Not just the last couple weeks, not just last night.

i really think that it is time for "changes" in the rockets coaching staff and roster. i do not care how long these players play together. still it will be the same result.

    1. they need a TRUE point guard who is going to get the players involve first before scoring.
    2. they need a TRUE power forward who is going to "protect" yao ming. an enforcer.
    3. they need a new coach and coaching staff. someone who can maximize, discipline and control these underachieving team.
    4. trade glen rice. since he is on his last year of his contract, a lot of team wil be interested to get under the salary cap.
    5. unload players like hawkins, collier, maddox. if other teams like san antonio or sacramento or dallas can get experienced bench, why not the rox?
    6. trade norris. it would be hard considering his contract but there are some teams that need a point guard. hopefully they would be stupid enough to get this overachieving, dribble-happy PG.
    7. give nachbar playing time. from what we hear from calvin murphy, this guy has a lot of talent and upside. why not give him playing time. look what happen to ginobili.
    8. fire DAWSON. this guy sucks as a manager. keeps on signing players to big contracts based on potential (remember maloney, cato, norris).

bottom line: this losing ways has got to stop.

Fact is that Rox management overrated last year's team and didn't make the neccessary changes this year bar that minor KT for Posey trade. Even with Rice and Francis healthy last year, we wouldn't have made the playoffs.
