Yeah and if Yao was on the Lakers nobody would sniff a championship for the next 20 years. The point of the lottery is that a crap-ass team like the Rockets get a chance to improve. Improvement takes time.

OK, what's wrong with this boxscore:

Francis: 17 pts (6-10 FG), six assist, five boards,

Mobley: 13 points (5-12 FG), one assist, three rebounds

Griffin: 13 points (6-13 FG), zero assist, four rebounds

James: Posey six points (3-6 FG), three assist, one rebound

Yao Ming: 11 points (5-9 FG), one assist, nine rebounds

Mo Taylor: 14 points (6-13 FG), two assist, one rebounds??

Why don't the two best players on the team -- Yao and Francis -- take the most shots on the team and play the most minutes? Taylor, Griffin, Mobley shouldn't be out-shooting these two. Combined tonight Francis and Yao were 11-19 from the field. Stevie kept us in it in the second and Yao took over in the third. Why is it so damn hard for Mobley and others to understand we (the Rockets) have TWO All-Stars on the team. One wears the number three jersey and the other wears the number 11 jersey. THEY are the go-to guys. Also, I tried giving Mean the benifit of the doubt last night, but he takes Francis/Yao out when it should be Mobley and/or someone else needs to be taken out! And Mo Taylor needs to stop trying to be a point-foward. He's to damn big to do all that dribble-dribble crap and shoot! One freakin' rebound from Taylor? That's just crap! Period. ONE ASSIST FROM MOBLEY? What is this sh*t, man.

Thanks Story-Teller you summed up everything just right and you said everything that I wanted to say so now I can try to get some sleep even though I hate late games because when the Roxs lose I can't sleep. Peace :)

    Our best 2 players:
Yao: 9 shot attempts (and none in the crunch 4th quarter except 1 in meaningless garbage time)
Steve: 10 shot attempts (and hardly a play called for him in the 4th quarter)

    The rest:
    Taylor: 13 shot attempts
    Griffin: 13 shot attempts
    Mobley: 12 shot attempts

Can anyone explain the logic of this kind of shot distribution? How could this be justified?

Forget the defensive attention and double team excuse. Shaq and Kobe have no problem getting shots off 20 times a game.

Exactly. Do Yao-haters seriously think Rockets will have a chance to revive in a short period time without Yao on the team?

I was going to bed then I got this post. Yes right in the first quarter they said that about Cat. And if you were asking if I was serious about Rasheed being an ******* the answer would be yes to that too. :D

Nothing wrong with being a Ming fan only, hes my favorite player, but I like the Franchise too. I was just called a Ming fan and I responded by saying I wasn't because I like Stevie, as for the rest of the Rockets, I could care less

Quit saying our guards. The problem right now is Mobley! If you can't see that, well....

Francis is playing great right now. Mobley is just a momentum killer and thinks he is the all-star on the team. It's horrible. DA torched Mobley's ass, too. And I don't know how many times Mobley had a teammate open on a fast break and Mobley takes it to the hole and either turns it over or takes an ill-advised shot. Even the blazers announcers said "There's Mobley again blaming the officials for an ill-advised shot HE missed."

It just doesn't make sense. Maybe the fact Moblye was drafted out of the second round and being such a success has something to do with his arrogance? I don't know. But he can't be the third-option on this team; it's clear he won't accept that. He has to go.

The Rockets Management must decide is their team going to be Guard Oriented and are the Guards Mobley and Francis? If the answer is even a partial 'Yes' then we must get everything we can by trading Yao Ming. I suggest Memphis will make us the best deal! If the answer inditates that we are going to have Big Mans Team then we get a big sweep of all Guards, at seasons end. If the answer its going to be both then we must be patient till one of two things -1) Les blows his top and takes control of his team or 2) Yao Ming demands a trade, then Les blows his top and fixes the Roster and replaces all Coaches.

And Yao doesn't turn the ball over an awful lot? Of course he does. Be fair in your criticism, man. Yao and Francis need to cut down the turnovers. Ming is perfect, neither is Francis. But they are the best players on the Rockets and everyone needs to understand this -- especially Mobley!

Agree put Ming in a team such as the Kings, the Jazz or the Mavs and he would florish because they know how to take advantage of his other skills. Their style of basketball fits perfectly with his basketball philosophy.

By the way how many time have I seen Yao made 4-5 straight baskets and never see the ball again? Sad.

I just think it's Steve's responsibility too to control our game. Anyway, I have to agree with you on Mobley's arrogance.

Well...you know I would love see someone with a big sign "Give Yao the (damn) Ball" again.

If the rocket does not want to use Yao Ming, why not trade him!

Trade both Yao and Francise away and Mobley can be a star on the rocket team and get all the attention he want.
