Yao is NOT being timid this game.

    He's going after them!

We aren't giving him the ball though. This sucks. MING SHOULD GET TOUCHES! That Dream shake was great.

Murphy is not happy wiht the ball movement. He just said he wants to teach Yao Ming a word now "Give me the ball".

KT is a lost man out there. Why three guards? Why not let
Boki play? This is home opener.

I think I see the pattern and the problem...

When the team starts to struggle a little on offense, Cuttino and Francis decide to take the game on their shoulders. I can't really fault them. They are trying to do what Olajuwon did, what Jordan did, what Larry Bird did.

The problem is that they aren't those guys yet. As a result, they end up forcing shots they shouldn't take in the first place.

    Time to grow up boys.

Cato is doing some good. He's blocking out and rebounding well.

Yao, should have gotten more touches.

Did anyone notice how our offense stagnates when Francis/Cat start the ISO?

The 1st quarter we moved the ball. Not now...

    They should be patient.

When do we start calling ourselves a good defensive team?

Is it just coincidence that teams are missing their shots against us? Or is it something more?

I mean, it doesn't LOOK like we're playing very good defense(except for the blocks), but are we?

    What do you guys think?

Does anyone remember the trapping defense the Sonics used to use
on the Rockets during the 90's?

It was ball presure on the whole court.

    That's what I want.

You guys are dead on they have no trust in their team mates, they need to the team is pretty good when they play within the flow. This team can not win if those two do not take at least 35 shots between the two of them though, it's just ridiculous how the rest of the team only scored 21 points the other night though that was ugly.

    Yao, the POINT CENTER!!!! :)

How'd you like that inside passing from Yao?

Thing change when he gets the ball. Heck, he makes Francis better.

    Ha!

Let Yao take 20 shots, and see how many points he can get. I don't think that would be much less than Cat's.
