Lets clarify this: Mobley Jacks the ball up and turns the ball over, while Francis turns the ball over. Francis has a nice shot selection, I dont cringe like I do with Mobley. Mobes just needs to shoot about 12 times a game max.

We will slaughter the Pistons, they are way too small inside for us. I think the Rockets will have one of those games where they appear to be very well balanced.

    Rockets 102
    Pistons 81

Five straight wins, coming right up.

This game will be the start of the Rockets true playoff run.

    I expect a pasting.

    Pistons: 76
    Rockets: 98

I'm glad Yao's getting rest, but it seems like a year since we played. (Maybe because we've had to digest that game...yuk.)

I agree....We should go to CATO on this game. Wallace and him are real rebounders, and Yao...well he has disapointed me with his rebounding the last few games (fatigue? u chose) Damn rookie wall.
Wallace is not a major offensive threat, and so cato can take advantage of that. Alley oop.

    OKAY.

The Pistons do not have any STARS, but they are still the 3rd best team in the East and 5th best team in the NBA. They do not seem to be a strong force, but they are the best defensive team in the league and they have been winning. They don't have ONE superstar. Ben Wallace is an awesome defensive player. I guess they work well together as a team. Joe Dumars has done a good job. Although they are a good team,

    The Rockets are better!!! :)

    We shall win at home...hopefully

Since every time I predicted a Rox win, they lost. I am going to say the Rox will lose this time. Close game all the way.

Well, Ben Wallace is a bruiser. Will the real Yao show up tomorrow night?

    O crap that sucks...
I hope Glen reaggravates his injury in practice and retires. I really like what Posey is doing out there, and we HAVE to give Boki more minutes.

Again, if rox play solid defense, we win. Lots of bashing on Cat. Hope he will do better chemistry. Hopefully I am right this time. Rox win 90-80.

Just to show we are very popular nowadays.
Pistons website runs a poll. Guess what the poll is:
"Will Yao Ming win NBA Rookie of the Year?"

    865 respondents. 62% yes, 38% no.

If Rice is declared fit to play, this is going to expose Rudy T as to wether he is serious about winning. If he starts Rice over Posey, he does not have the interest of the Team as # 1 but rather his relationship with Rice as # 1. Please draw your own conclusions!

Should be an interesting game. Teams are pretty even...however, I give the Rockets the edge with homecourt and a little more scoring power.

I wish Yao Ming would not play All Star game, I wish Yao ming could not do much Ad activity, just rest and focus on basketball right now. Later when everything is stablized, he can make more money from ads. I do not know whats' his buziness group folks thinking and doing. It's vey tough year for Ming, He needs to focus on team and basketball only now. I hope we have channle to communicate with Ming.

I am sorry, Maybe it's not right thread. I do not want to start another one.

Rudy needs to get Yao position under the basket the first 3 or 4 times down the floor. Either by new plays, or by good old ones (ala double high PnR). He needs to start off the game 3 for 3, something like that, get a rythm going.

Another question: When will our guards learn that they don't have to shoot just because they've driven all the way to the hole. If there is no shot or pass, keep the dribble going, dribble out, then catch the defense off guard, or quickly reset.

    I predict a win.

What u just stated is what Steve Nash ins awesome at doing. He will drive to the hole, and if the defense collapses, pass it to an open player. If nothing, he will just come right back out w/ the rock. Sometimes he will fake coming back out and go right back in, thus catching the defense off guard.

Good assessment, SF needs to do that much more:cool:
