    Wow! We won! :D

Looks like we always do better against supposedly good teams and flop against lesser teams...

Man! Life is So Sweet when we get to notch another W on our Record

Well, I hope after this GREAT game, broadcast on national TV, both Yao-ONLY and hardcore-ROCKET fans will unite and realize that something special is in the air for ALL OF US. Even watching our guys smiling, laughing, and looking like they sincerely enjoy the game (Francis lifting his arms like Rocky Balboa!), you gotta feel good about this W. You know it's funny, but for all the statistical blemishes in turnovers and low FG%, we still overcame it all!, heh heh heh... the whole league's a buzzing about Houston.

Hats off the Isiah and the Pacers... they really Do work well as a team.. . but as far as talent goes... man WE ARE STOCKED BABY!!!.

OPTIMISM... TEAM OPTIMISM... THAT'S MY TAKEAWAY TONITE!!!

    :D :D :D

Did anyone notice that ESPN actually kept tracking how many touches Yao had. I think it was 45 or so near the end, a lot more than the previous three games. It is just beautiful to see an inside-out game so easily won, easy though Rockets were just shooting 38.3% FG. Besides Ming and Steve, rest of rockets are at a dismal 14-52.

Joy of winning and playing smart at the same time. Kudos to Rudy T!

    CAT COMES THROUGH!!!

It doesn't matter HOW badly he shot in the beginning, Cat's so smooth in leaving the past in the past. That's Leadership For You!. I can't emphasize enough Cat's contributions. All that rubbish talk of "Michael Jordan had a 2 point night yet he was SUCH the contributor..." sheeesh, mindless sycophants! If these guys want to talk about a "low-key" but significant contribution, they should be talking MOBLEY. To take and hit that pair of 3s late in the game when you know you're shot hasn't been going... that's COURAGE for u.

What's the fine line btw courage and stupidity you ask?

Simple... Take Forced Shots? You look like a fool. Take Open Shots? You're playing w/in the game. Mobley's no fool. Mobley knows that an open 3 is about as good an opportunity to score points as a free throw. Open looks. No defender. You just knew that he would be hitting them like shooting ducks in a barrel before our 48 minutes were up. That's what I love about Mobley. That's TRUE professional, on-the-court maturity for you.

My greatest respects again for the Pacers... a team which, relatively speaking, is not exactly a wellspring of talent... Isiah has done an INCREDIBLE job with them.

    :p :p :p

You know lancet, that's the irony about this game. Shooting wise, turnover wise, FG% wise, it was a HORRIBLE game... but yet there was definetly a good flow and tempo to it, that made you FEEL like "THIS TEMPO IS OUR TEMPO! THIS GAME IS OUR GAME!" Call it an intangible. Call it an invisible stat. But for such a "difficult" game, it sure felt easy, and I think you and everyone else who's been saying, "GO INSIDE THEN OUTSIDE." hit the nail right on the head.

    It's all in the flow.

    ;)

    And your point is?

Well, regardless what your point is, this game sends a clear message to all the other teams. Coming playoff time, they all will be in trouble playing against Rockets.

Ming was phenomenal! His array of moves and shots! His accuracy! If set up properly, I honestly believe that he could average over 30 ppg. He is 22! He is still learning the NBA game! The potential is truly Hakeem-like. AND, this guy gets up for the big games, like Hakeem did. The only thing that worries me is that at times he looked like a giant among the seven dwarfs. Many Rocket's players could not buy a bucket ie. Mobley, Rice, Griffin, etc. I thought Francis had a nice game, but, overall, with the exception of Ming, it was uglyball. The third quarter was AWFUL! BUT, count it, A WIN on national tv. Ming was nothing short of awesome, I am still amazed. WOW

I was at the game. My friends and I (about 15 of us) were making the loudest noise and we led the people around us singing the Yao Ming song. That was awesome!

See what we got when we played a little bit D....with
    "a little bit love"...

Mobley: He is the hero. Although he missed so many
shots, he made up for it with 2 3-ps and one 2+1.

Yao: Guess he felt sort of uncomfortable if not guilty about O'neal's getting injured. That's why he missed his one free
    throw, maybe.

Francis: I love this guy. ...Oh, wait, Francis, where did you
get your tooth guard? Since you and Cat both wore this
stuff, can you get one for Yao? I'd pay to see he spit it
    out then shove it back.

EG:Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee. I'm pretty satisfied
with his butterfly move, but maybe need work more on
    the bee part.

Cato: Impressive offense rebounds work. Better than Yao.

Isiah Thomas is pretty cool. But it's so much fun to watch
darling coach T just jumped high with anger.

Nice win. Although poor first three quarters PG% for both
    team.

Worth notice is that Ming played the WHOLE sec half, every sec of it. He keeps fighting till the end and made some huge plays at the end to seal the win. Seems his stamina is also improving.

Rockets offense today really focused on getting the ball into Yao, and the result is the big W against the best team in the east.
