Yao on 27 points (10-12 FG, 7-9 FT), 8 rebounds. End of 3rd quarter.

Rockets are great. Much more patient and mature...disciplined...

I really think it's because of the new coaching staff...maybe a little effect by uniforms and arena.

But JVG really does make a difference. I bet you Yao Ming would not be scoring 20+ if Rudy was still the coach..and our offense would be totally different...just iso...maybe not.

Steve Francis is just awesome. He had TWO Blocks..should have at least. I think he's better than Andre Miller. Andre is pretty good down low...but he cannot play defense. ahaha it's hilarious...moochie going past him everytime. Should be the other way around. His shooting is decent. Which brings me to MOOCHIE! Man...he has changed. I actually like him now. I never knew he could run! He actually scored on a fast break...he's a great backup point guard now. Still a bit slow compared to EARL BOYKINS! JEEZ LOUISE!

Jim Jackson isn't doing that good. He is doing a good job on defense I believe. He is similar to Mo Taylor...they are both good posting up..and both make boneheaded mistakes sometimes. Well they just do the same thing over and over. Nice to have JJ on our team but hmm...he needs to make his open shots more often...Cuttino Mobley is fantastic off the bench! I love this. Mobley playing 30 minutes a game as 6th man would be awesome...just based on this game though. I love it..

Bostjan Nachbar seems...equivalent to Carmelo Anthony...lol. They are about the same level. Boki is showing his stuff...I knew he could shoot! Toray Braggs is OK...good benchwarmer...he's strong...but I think he's going to be waived. Thank God we also have Piatkowski and Adrian Griffin!

Kelvin Cato is doing a great job at power forward. A Ben Wallace in the making? He and Yao are great together. Cato is making some nice passes...I think he learned this from Ewing and JVG...and he's dunking and has an attitude! which is fine!

Yao Ming is just dominating. I don't think he would be dominating like he is if Rudy was still the coach. I appreciate having Yao Ming. He is a star...but he needs good role players and he needs to be with Francis! He needs the ball of course too.
    Amaechi didn't play! YES!

Referees. I give them a D! How many fouls can they call...jeez...a lot were favorable for us so that's good. :D

The team is at its best with twin tower and Franchise on the court.

Hee... Yao was SOOOO winded coming to the bench (which is normal for a guy who just played 15 straight game minutes), and he was complaining about something while he was out of breath, and Ewing just gave him this smiling look like, "Kid... I've been there before.... "

I think he was complaining about when Boykins stole the ball from him he also hit him in the nutz. In the slow-mo replay it looked like he did.

Doesn't them reaching 100 mean the fans get a free burger or something?

Anyways, great game by the Rockets. It's nice to have Cat back again. I just saw the recap on South West Sports Report, and they really did look good today. Yao was in control of the game.

Go Rockets!! Win on ESPN on friday!

If Yao keeps playing agressively just like today's game, I will not surprise that he will be a MVP candidate this season.

And to think Yao only played 28 minutes since it was a blow out, plus early foul trouble, wow. btw, Yao is averaging 20.2 points and 9.1 rebounds in his 5 preason games (28 minutes per game), both team highs.

Yeah, if he can average 29 points this season :)

Seriously, I think Yao can average 20/10 easily this season.

NO way for MVP! No way!
But enough to bring Rockets to playoff!
    That's good enough.
