You got it all wrong, I don't think MoTaylor is a great passer. I was being sarcastic. I don't like that iso either but it was the only thing working tonight. But you are right, this is the problem I have with it being suggested that he be a starter, MoTaylor is all about isolation, and the rockets have enough of that in the Starting lineup.

That was the triangle they were running? The Rockets sure ran a LOT of the triangle during the championship years, then...

I still hear the buzzer going off in my head from all the 24 sec clock violations in the first half.

    LOL,

I laugh when the call the Lakers offense the triangle. The only time its a triangle is when Shaq and Kobe don't have the ball.:D

    Just a thought...

Instead of running the same play 5 times in a row to end the game with feeding Mo in the post, how about mixing it up.

I would let Francis penetrate and create something. As our most explosive offensive player, its a shame that he didn't have the ball in his hands for the last 3:00 of the game.

Our offensive scheme was exposed for its ineptness last night. We saw the diff between championship ball and playground ball. I like Mean's demeanor, but if RT doesn't come back, I don't think Mean's the right guy. He's just been around the iso offense too long. We need a guy to blow this thing up and force players to play the correct, unselfish way. With the exception of Mobley, I don't think we have guys who cannot change their ways, but it requires the right leadership from the coaching position. I wish we had a Hubie or someone of that mold.

I think that it was a pretty good game. I just started getting scared that with Rudy T leaving for health problems it was going to keep on going to Rockets players. Like Eddie Griffin with his thumb and then Yao's jaw.
I can't believe we let a 4 point lead go away. and then they make a 3. and then Shaq misses a freethrow but then get his own rebound and dunks it. And then he comes back and dunks it again after missing a dunk and francis blocking him. Very frustrating.
But maybe this is a good loss because after we beat Lakers last time we lost 5 games in a row.

I think Yao got punished enough nut he learned a lesson from Shaq, today it's his turn to show that to the Admiral. Rockets will end the road losing streak at San Antonio.

The bad thing of course is that we lost the game.

The sad thing is that Francis seems to be the only one that has heart on this team.

Completely agreed. I don't see a consistent offensive scheme (or schemes) being adopted by the Rockets. Their most consistent scheme is the iso plays, which are killing them.

I think Yao has now really hit the Rookie's wall. I watched the Clippers and the Lakers games but I noticed that Yao was exhausted both physically and mentally - there's simply no fire in his eyes. He has been playing non-stop for over a year now. He really needs rest and recuperation.
