But against Shaq, they don't have a chance. Like Theo Ratliff who's 6-10. But he's very quick and can block. And Brian Grant is strong as well and taking over Alonzo Mourning's place. Eddie Griffin served as a center for a while too. I think Yao will dominate tonight. Kurt Thomas will score a lot as well. I just hope Cuttino Mobley can stop Allan Houston and can make some 3's. He has missed the last 12 attempts behind the 3 point line. At least that 's what Janny Hu said. She has made a few mistakes. Yao shouldn't do all those fakes and stuff. He should take time to focus and shoot. Sometimes he just throws it too hard on the backboard. I still think his best shot is his jump hook from right to left. He shouldn't be too impatient.

    Rockets - 95
    Knickerboxers - 91

Contain Spree and Houston and we will be fine. Kurt Thomas won't be doing anything out of the ordinary with Yao, Cato and Griffin roaming the paint.

As for Rice facing his former team, let's hope not. I want to see Posey get some legit minutes tonight.

Kurt Thomas is hardly a scrub and is actually a pretty decent player.

I belive he has come close to averaging a double double the last season or two and shoots 50% from the field and has adapted quite nicely to playing the center position this year.

In college, he was only one of two or three players, ever, to lead the nation in scoring and rebounding. I belive that Xaiver McDaniel was one. I cant remember who the other one was or if indeed there was a 3rd.

I'm South Carolina for the holidays, and able to see the rockets game. Can anyone tell me how Possey is fitting into the team.

He hasn't really played much. When he has been in, he seems to play well. I don't think he quite knows the offense since he does look a little loss. However, he has scored off a steal and has played great defense. Maybe today he can get some more PT and help out more. With Glen on Sprewell, it won't be very pretty. :)
MAYBE, Rudy will finally put Possey in, instead of letting Rice get torched.

    1st Q: 24 (Knicks) - 20 (Rockets)

Houston and Sprewell were not contained.
Ming was taken out early though he played ok IMO.

It looks just like the same old thing to me! If Rudy doesn't make considerable changes we are in for it again! Hope not, but it doesn't look too good in the 1st qtr.

    OMG.

We are trailing the freaking NY Knicks. Our FG % is horrible and the last place Knicks are shooting over 50%. Argghhh.

I am surprised that Yao doesn't have 20 boards by now. Kurt Thomas is only 6'9". :(

Loss unless somebody starts making shots and Houston is contained.
