We would be wise to let Glen get points back for us. LAst games 3 field goals was completely unacceptable. The Jazz loss would not have been so with more Rice touches. He is here for offense...it is not will Rice be a defensive stopper, it's whether or not he's gonna get into the offense...and the latter is far more important...we play a smart team defense, we need not rely too much on one on one stops. If GLen is a part of the O tonite, this is an easy win.

We would be wiser to give Posey minutes for his defensive abilities. We would be wisest if Rudy DOES NOT go small when the other team goes big and starts to score at will.

I think that we should beat the knicks, but has anyone else noticed how we play against the teams we should beat. I mean we go out and give the top teams hell and even win big in some of those games, and then come back and play terrrible against teams that we should blow out. I don't think that the Rocks fully realize that they are now a marked team. Just like in the days of Dream. They will get a lot of teams best effort. The rapid developement of Yoa only serves as fuel to knock us off. We are clearly more talented than a lot of the teams that we lost to. My point is that we have to learn to bring it on a nightly basis. When we learn how to do this we will truly become one of the best teams in the league. I don't think this a question of talent, but one of attitude. I think we can play with the best in the league, but how consistent can we be. I think we need more of an aggressive attitude and take it to the other teams.

    With that said:

in today's Chronicle, Janny Hu incorrectly reports that RIce will face the Knicks for the first time since he was traded. doesn't she remember Glen dropping 20 on the KNicks in the Garden last year before they blew a 17 point lead in my presence?

    Rice's former team

Tonight's game marks the first time Rockets forward Glen Rice will face his former team. The Knicks traded Rice to the Rockets for Shandon Anderson, as part of a three-way deal with Dallas in August 2001 to relieve congestion at small forward.

Rice, who was injured when the two teams faced off last year, said there is no ill will remaining from his sometimes tumultuous one-year stay with the Knicks.

"They made their decision to trade me; I have to live with it, and they have to live with it," Rice said. "There's no bad blood. But there is extra satisfaction in playing well against them."

You act like blowing a 17 point lead is some sort of new thing for the Knicks.

Oh my. Their center is Kurt Thomas? He's only 6-9?!?!? Yao has trouble against short people but he does better on tall people. He always does good but he's been missing more shots. I want him to remain as the king of field goal percentage.

And former Rocket Othella Harrington!!! Does anyone remember him?
