exactly. we know from the world championships that yao can hit the 18-22 footer, near the top of the key. if rudy insists on giving yao the ball there, which he often does, he needs to give him the green light to shoot it from there.

otherwise, from that position on the court, he's no more effective than kelvin freekin cato. give him the green light rudy!

Walton said that a good center needs a good small forward.

The Knicks simply played their best game defensively. They did not allow the Rockets to get an open shot, which showed up by the amount of fouls. If you hack the hell out of an ISO team you will get them out of their rhythm. Other teams will probably try it, but the Knicks are the most experienced team in the league at playing dirty. I don't think many teams will be able to use their gameplan.

    You,

Not too far from being a reality. I know that Les must be sick. He has to realize that he can't be afraid to fire Rudy. Ming won't develop since he's smarter than Rudy. Don Chaney finally has his day! No playoffs with Rudy! I've said that from Day 1!

    Nineteen -

TOTALLY AGREE!!!!   - I said weeks ago, when before the trade of K.T. (which is already coming back to haunt us!!) that if Rudy did not get us not only into the playoffs, but into the top four, that he should be fired.

We've got WAY TOO MUCH TALENT NOT TO WIN!!!

Rudy is proving to others what I've known for a LONG TIME:

He absolutely SUCKS at coaching the offense!!!

Rudy couldn't implement a motion offense if it bit him on the ass!!

    R-Us,

Thanks. You would think that posters want Rudy to keep his job more than they want the Rox to win. I've felt that the Rox have underachieve with Rudy. Now let me shock you. Even during the second championship. The players tried to do it Rudy's way and finished sixth. They had private team meetings and turned it around. Rudy received the benefit as the genius. Rudy put the Rox in the hole to begin with!

Talk about a public relations NIGHTMARE; you let the New York Bottomfeeders abuse you on your home court before one of the few packed houses in recent memory. This one will cost the organization some serious money in lost ticket sales. Remember, the Rockets are a business even though for the moment they don't appear to be. Underachieving is not a cherished business practice.

I took my father in-law (who lives in another country) to his first NBA game last night at Compaq center. I was hoping for an entertaining game, but it was proabably one of the worst games I have ever seen. I then found this morning that it was lowest shooting percentage game in Rockets history. It was a totally disappointing evening.

 it's that Frappucino schitt...... drink somethin healthy godamnit! Yao Ming and Boki need to cut down on the video games and burn more energy on basketball tricks..... and they should get Dance Dance Revolution for a little improvisational body rhythm workout at the of the day, and apply it to new basketball moves... Yao's mom should check on Yao Yao and make sure he gets to bed by 1AM.
