    Hey Everybody...

Get this...Webber may not play tomorrow!!!

    News
Chris Webber suffered a sprained wrist in Sunday's game against the Spurs. He underwent X-rays during the game, but told the San Antonio Express-News he never received the results and remains worried about the joint.

    Views
C-Webb plays hurt as often as Mateen Cleaves sees the floor, so this is concerning news. The Kings play tomorrow at Houston and then have three days off before playing back-to-back on Saturday and Sunday. It's likely the Kings play it safe tomorrow night, giving Webber five full days of rest. This would be terrific news for forward Keon Clark, who would start at the four if Webber could not.

We need all the help we can get against the Queens. Webber being out is always a plus.

I'd actually want Webber to play, cuz then we can use the Kings as a yardstick to where we actually are. Last game cat was out so it's not a really good analysis. This game should be interesting.

Well, if webber cannot play, we better win this game big. Ask YM/SF/Cato attack the basket and foul them out.

The Kings were a lucky bounce or a bad call away from the finals last year so they obviously have a good team. Last time they played the Rox, they brought an intensity that we could not match. That is my main concern. They acted like every bounce was important. It seemed like every lazy ass pass we threw, they ripped out of the air and jammed through the hoop.

I hope for the best, but fear the worst.

i hope cwebb plays because when we lose to them w/o cwebb it will be even worse. might as well have a good reason for losing.

Nahhh, I don't think we'd lose if Webber doesn't play, cuz we'll dominate in the paint. Not saying he's better than Divac, but Yao will get his share. Sac w/o Webber solves our weak 4 problem. Webber WAS the difference in the last game. If we lose when Webber doesn't play I'll hide my head in a sack.

There gonna beat them with or without webber. All teams have a bad game or two this is not the same team kings played last two years it seems that this first time rockets have been this healthy in awhile. No excuses we should win big if webber is not there.
First game this season Rockets played like a tired team on a 5 Road trip lost Glen Rice(on fire!!!) and Mobley to injuries.

    Yao, Cato > Divac, Clark
    3 headed monster<webber, Funderburke
    Rice T-mo = Wallace, J Jackson
    mobley > Christie
    Francis, Norris > B Jackson, D Jones

    Home Court Advantage

    100-85 Rockets

I hope no one's beat me to this cuz I didn't read all the posts after this, but I believe that number is up to 7 after Philly, which ties a franchise record. Which, as impressive as it is, shouldn't blow anyone away since the league has hit a brick wall when it comes to scoring with the new defensive rules. A few years ago, this type of opponent performance would definitely make us the best defensive team in the league; currently, we're 3rd in opponent PPG.

BTW, IF it's true that Webber might not play, and he doesn't, and we still lose at home, it would SUCK SO MUCH more! Right now, a close loss could be respectable, a loss without him would be almost embarrassing. They have a great team, but without Bibby, Peja, Webber, and Christie, what the hell do you have left? So while it could be good news for the Rockets, it also adds pressure to the game.

Marc Stein from ESPN on this game:

Game O' The Night, however, is in Houston: Kings at Rockets. If there's anything missing from Sacramento's steely stand in the face of injuries, it's road dominance. The Kings are just 7-5 away from Arco Arena. Making this one even more enticing are the individual matchups: Steve Francis opposite the relentless Bobby Jackson, and Yao Ming against an international center (Vlade Divac) with lots of tricks to teach him.
