Wow, it was nice to be able to give to Ming in crunch time at the end. He was clutch!

It only took Rudy about twelve more games than it took the Clutch crew that it was the right thing to do...

Thank goodness that Sac winning streak monkey is off our back. Now we have to go out and demolish all rookie Memphis.

wow...is the server extremely slow to any one else?
    Maybe this is why:
There are currently 240 members and 14 guests on the boards.
and growing, everytime I refresh it is a higher number of people.

Yao looked great, even though he didnt have a great shooting night, but the teams leader, Stevie Franchise had a great game and nice shooting.
Stevie has had 30+points in 6 games this season. :D wow:eek: :D

I don't think Yao was ready that early in the season. Judging by his comments after games, he'd tell you the same if you asked him.

How sweeeeet it is to finally beat the Kings. This was my 1st chance to watch Yao in person, and like everyone else, I came away impressed. You can see this team changing into a more focused and mature bunch. They showed some backbone tonight by avenging their embarassing loss in Sac-town. They also pretty much led from start to finish tonight, which is something we usually don't do. The Rockets of last year would have fallen behing by double digits in the 1st half and fight back the rest of the game only to fall a few points short. We played with poise tonight, esp. in the 4th quarter when the Kings closed the gap. Also hit our free throws, which helped a ton.

We beat the Spurs which had won 15 of the previous 16 games against us.

Tonight we got our first victory over the Kings since March 28 1999.

Future is looking so bright now...:D

I used to live in Oakland and I hate the team that is usually associated with this phrase but its appropriate for us:

    BEWARE OF THE ROCKET NATION!

What really impressed me about Yao was his poor shooting game and yet, people come away just giggling after this game. He proved, like a true #1, future MVP, that he does not have to score to help his team win. And let's not forget the praise of Stevie, who scored 30+ yet looked very controlled doing it.
