Yao , Last year he was always out of breath holding his knees but he is very energized today. He is running up and down the court fighting for RB's. It looks like he got plenty of rest in the off season

Yao...in first quarter...got a BIT clumsy...lost a couple balls...BUT other than that, he is making everything. It's just too easy when you are 7-6 and have skills and you also have a brain! He's scored like 22 points easily....he PLAYS WONDERFUL WITH CATO. Brilliant!

I wonder if Cato could handle playing about 24 minutes a game at power forward...or center. It doesn't really matter. They are like interchangeable in this "scheme". But does anyone think Cato can play hard and this good for an entire season with 24 mpg?

Nachbar was really sucking in the 2nd and 3rd. He did make his first shot...and is playing decent defense...and he can surely finish on the fast break if he is set up. I was hating him a bit...until he just swished 2 treys in a row! Nice nice...he could be part of our future. He is athletic enough...

Moochie is surprising me. JVG is slowly transforming our guys into better players! He is playing good defense and looks very nice and slick and smooth on offense. Unbelievable really. I guess he got some confidence.

    Francis is just great...

Francis 36/Moochie if he plays like tonight more often! 12/Wilks on DL
    Mobley 35/Piatkowski 13
    Piatkowski 12/Jackson 18/Nachbar 18
    Cato 24/Taylor 24/Miller/Braggs
    Yao 35/Cato 5/Amaechi 8

I think we are much deeper this year...it's nice that we have all these guys. So when someone isn't performing...like Piatkowski can't defend someone...we can have Jackson. But if Jackson is shooting 2/11 like he did tonight....then we can put in Nachbar...I THINK HE HAS SOME POTENTIAL. Seriously...he did OK versus Peja.

We still have Adrian Griffin as well.

Eddie..is just kinda hopeless at this current time. I am just wondering where he is!

Cato and Yao combo is great...I love it.

Our team has talent...versatile...and our coach is great. I love him!

    Mobley and Griffin for who?

plenty of rest in off season? I don't think so, considering all the games he played for China NT. All most no rest.

Hmmm, I hope that's sarcasm, but if it's not, Steve hasn't been running the point much tonight aside from the 1st quarter.

He definitely looks better than the previous couple of games he was in. He's also actually going after rebounds instead of letting them come to him, which is an encouraging sign. On the other hand, the Kings have zero inside presence tonight, so he hasn't had to work too hard.

Yes but last year he also played in the world championships. This year he only played a handfull of games over a three week period.

What's the deal with Brad Miller? He is supposed to be one of the best centers in the league and he is 1/8 on FG's and hasn't been able to stop Yao. Is our man that much better?

Can someone with some credibility please tell me if Nachbar has been guarding Stojakovic? Peja's stats are much worse than Boki's. Thanks.

For those watching the game, has the Rockets defense really inproved the last two games, or have the Kings just been playing bad? So far tonight we've held themto 35% shooting and forced 17 turnovers. Is Van Gundy starting to make his impression on the team?
