The Jazz play their usual slow it down half court game but the Rockets revert back to the team that shares the ball and win:

    Rockets 92
    Jazz 84

A slow-down half-court game is what this Rox team needs. It will get Yao more touches (wishful thinking, :( ) and cut down on the TOs.

The Rockets need to get their act together. I "really" started watching the Rockets the Year Barkley went down. Since that year we haven't been to playoffs; making this year our most legit chance at getting in since Hakeem's last year. I sure as hell not going to spend my summer wondering what could have been, I want to see this team turn a new leaf, get back to the basics, and play that team ball that the big "O" supposedly taught Steve.

    Rockets 125
    Jazz 76

Griffin goes nuts and tears Malone a new one, and Steve abuses Stockton so bad, he decides to retire early.

Wow, another game against the hated Jazz. Remembering the last time they came to town, the Jazz executed perfectly down the stretch and beat the Rockets as the lights were dimmed in the Compaq Center because of a power failure. Not pretty.

This game will be tough. We need to jump on them early (how many times have we collectively said this before:( ). Hopefully Steve listened to the Big O and has processed all that wisdom. Chances are that we will split the next two games. But how sweet it would be to win both halves of this rare back to back! :D

We begin our push for the playoffs and playoff seeding here. Right here, right now.

Steve - be a point guard
    Cat - pass
Posey - keep fitting in with the team
    Eddie - develop, develop, develop
Yao - be more aggressive and bring home the ROY award
Maurice - keep up the improved play as of late
Cato - I hope you are healthy
Rice - get healthy, we do need your outside shot
Moochie - oh, I am at a loss here. So much to complain about. Good thing Steve and Cat can play so many minutes.

Of course, let's not forget that the Rockets have killed teams lately at Compaq Center. It is on the road where the Rockets struggle. The Rockets will win tonight, and win big, just like they did over Minn and Sac. Then a total collapse on the road will follow.

How amazing would it be to beat the Jazz twice in a row? I wish we had caught this before the break. Malone, Stockton and Harpring got some much needed rest.

Tonight's a win. But can we do it the following game?

 dang! it usually seem like when the Rox rest good, they lose their competitiveness, and gain another "D". I would tend to believe that Dynasty & Franchise are going to be hotter than any Rox for this game. But then again, them old codgers sure can benefit from some rest.

And I hope Yao don't become under utilized like he was at the All Stars, or most Rox games for that matter  .

    Rockets 93 Jazz 91

Malone and Stockton will get nominated for an Oscar in the category: Best Actor in a Flopping Role. :D

Yao Ming will come out angry, and demand the ball. Then we'll see what he's all about!

Watch out for Stockton and the Russian at the passing lane! Francis would get 5 turnovers tonight. Cat would be better b/c he doesn't pass at all.
