When we're up by 20 with 1 or 2 minutes left in the game.

Can the Rockets follow a win in an Insanely Impossible Game with a win in a Sickeningly Simple Game?

    HORRIBLY HUGE GAME TOMORROW!!!

    I think/hope we'll get it...

We win this one.. I think the Rockets know that in this tough stretch of games, they have to win the easy ones.. besides, they have to be revved up for the lakers.. they are battling for playoff position, a must win situation, to keep us at least a half game ahead of the lakers, should they win their games before we meet again on Tuesday!

    Go Rox!

    Rox: 101
    Heat: 94

Grant also went on to say, "the weed here in florida sucks...I miss the weed in Portland. It never made me play better, but I understood what the game was all about then. I really...what was I just talking about? I hope that basketball remains an important part of my.....taaaadodododoododoodo...what did you just say? We have got to load and new offense and stuff."

I'm worried that the Rockets will forget Defense since Eddie Jones is not playing.

    Rasual Butler with his career-performance.

Butler is the #1 scorer and Posey is our #1 defender, so I'm hoping that we light it up from the outside. Best and grant are also slowed by injuries btw.

    Rockets 99
    Heat 71

i am afraid of Yao,who seems nervous to miami's team defense although he has learn much about it! so i expect mobley and griffin would light themselves up in offence.
    a tough win , i predict:(

Hmm...a home game against a really crappy team...

Just one question. Would anybody really be THAT suprised if the Rockets lost this one? I can't say that I would...

Yao is a tough guy inside, although he does not show it in the street gang dirty look/act way. He wants revenge too. Remember they tored up his uniform and made it like night gown? It is payback time, baby.

    Rox 96
    Heat 82

    Yao 26 points, 12 rebounds, 5 blocks

    -------------------------
Yao: Do NOT invite Shakey ;) for dinner next time. We are in a NBA revolution!!!:D

No contest. Rockets will win, unless they choke. And their history w/ losing teams isn't so great.

Miami without Eddie Jones is probably the worst team in the NBA. On top of that the Rockets are playing at home. The Rockets have no excuse to lose this game, but as mentioned the Rockets throughout the year have lost to teams they should beat. Usually after the Rockets play well against the league's better teams they come out the next night against the league's worst teams and play horrendous. This game is huge because the schedule gets tough next week starting with the Fakers at L.A.

BTW...I'm out here in NY, but I'm a Rockets fan now that Yao has joined the Rockets and I'll be rooting for the Rockets on 2/25 when they come to visit the Knicks. Go Rockets!

Well.......Don't be too optimistic. Are you guys sure Yao can withstand Brian Grant's physical defense? Remember our last game vs Heat???

Anyway, Rox require well-rounded team performance to win. But is Mobley ready after his bad games vs the Jazz?

Hope our team can overcome all these stuff. Go ROX!!!!:)

IMO The Rockets will win tonight if they treat Miami like a champion...

If they treat them like most of us think of the Heat in water cooler talk, they'll be more trade talk and red smilies (oxymoron) after the game.

The way to test this is to quote the players after the game. You'll notice Rox quotes after losses to teams with sub-par records like, "Yeah, we should have beat them. We're so much better than them. We just came out flat." Then you look at successful coaches like Phil Jackson, when the Lakers were something like 10-16 or whatever, and when asked if they were "better than that", he replied, "No, we're a 10-16 team." Get back to reality...

If they win big, hopefully you'll see quotes like, "Yeah, we played them as hard as any other team. It doesn't matter - we play our hardest, every minute, no matter who we play. You never know when the team with the worst record will have an 'in the zone' day."... and that tends to happen when the other team openly disrespects them... and you know what? The fans help create the team's attitude.

It is a must win game. However, everytime when I predict Rox to lose, we will win instead. Therefore, here goes my prediction:

    Rox 98 Heat 100

I'm predicting a relatively easy win. I think the focus they brought to the Utah game will not have dissapated yet.

Thanks Supermagichero! I know I can be accused of jumping on the bandwagon because Yao joined the Rockets this year, but I like the rest of the guys too. They seem like they all getting along well and have fun, now let's hope they can translate that into a playoff birth. Also, when you live in Brooklyn your home team is the Knicks, but if you watch one Knicks game you'll realize that there's no way you can root for such a boring team (aside from Spree). I wonder how many people will be rooting for the Rockets at the Knicks game. I'm sure there'll be a big Asian turnout, so it could be interesting to see.

i think we should use this game to get cat and mo tayler involved so that they can step up against the lakers ... we all know that taylor tears it up when he is playing LAL and it could be good for cat cuz he is rusty right now. :)

    93-87 rox.
